I booked Ana for our vow renewal. I didn't have make up done at my own wedding because I went to two make-up trials and they were both horrific. I ended up doing my own makeup with the stuff I always use, but with the addition of fake eyelashes, and everyone thought I had professional makeup done because I looked so different. False eyelashes make a HUGE difference.

Do you happen to know if it will still be $10 for false eyelashes if we supply our own falsies? I still have a pair.

Thanks so much!! I know exactly how you feel with horrific makeup trials. False eyelashes really make such a huge impact on the look, I really love them! I'm not sure if the $10 if a combination of the lashes plus an application fee, or what. I mean, I really can't see her charging $10 for just applying them on. Heck, I'd stick them on myself in that case! I'm thinking about supplying my own, too. I want to play around with some falsies for the best look.

Jessi - OMG I'm so jealous you went to Disney! Hehehe, I'm still trying to come up with reasons (for Erik I need no reason other then the fact that it's Disney) to make trips between now and Dec! I may have talked my way into a long weekend in Oct. We'll see Anywho - love you're bridesmaid cards. I pretty much said to my bff "so you're OK with being my MOH right?" Her response was "yeah I just told John (her husband) the other day that I was 99% I would be". It was funny apparently her husband's response was well I wouldn't be so sure. Of course she should have been sure...so long story short no need for the cards however I loved them so much I'm now thinking I have to come up with a reason to use them! (flower girl gifts maybe?????) Oh and I loved your make-up trial pictures - you so looked like a Disney Princess with perfect skin! OK so now that' I totally broke into your planning journal - just one last thing I'm loving the pj so far keep it coming!!!!

OMG I'm sooooooooooo blushing here!! I'm so self-conscious about my problem skin so I'm glad people really see it as flawless looking!

Anyway, hopefully you and Erik will be able to go in October! It was so long since I had been to Disney that I think I would've been a nervous not being able to see anything, you know? I mean, then again.. these boards are so amazing when it comes to information. I'm really not sure how anyone could plan a destination wedding without a resource like this!

Thanks about the Bridesmaids cards! We worked so hard on them! Actually, what's funny is my bridal party already knew they were in the wedding so the cards were moreso for a keepsake for them. We kinda laugh about it still because I blurted out after we were engaged, "OMG Will you be my Bridesmaid?!" on AIM! I was so ridiculously excited!!

Wow, love how your second make up session came out. I had contacted Ana a while ago and now that our date is set I am going to contact her to make sure she is available. We will also be heading down in May for a planning visit so hopefully I can get a trial run with her also.

I also think your newsletters came out great and would love to get the template. I tried starting a newsletter but having a sample would help so much. I'll PM you my email address.

I am a NJ bride also. We are originally from NY but moved to NJ about 8 years ago. We live in Kendall Park (part of South Brunswick) so we are probably not too far from you. My DF's sister lives in Edison. I am planning on ordering my dress from a shop in Linden. There seem to be alot of NJ brides on these boards lately.

Jessi - OK so I did manage to get my Disney fix - we had a last minute trip to Disneyland on Sat. Totally unexpected but this is what happens when I'm in CA and have the afternoon free. I'm still pushing for the Oct. trip too though.

Also I'm glad to know you gave the cards to your girls after you asked them since the precedent has been set it means I may be able to use them yet!

I just started reading your planning journal and I'm addicted! I was trying to decide on Ana or a few other hair and makeup specialists and after seeing your trial makeup, the deal is sealed. I'm going with Ana. I love all of the brides' makeup that I have seen that she has done. I absolutely adore your bm cards. I'm stealing your idea! Your newsletter looks so professional. I have been trying to work on one but it hasn't been coming out so great. I'm not good with the programs. To have a template would be awesome...especially yours! I'm sending you my email. Please post more! I can't wait for more of your planning ideas!

I thought they'd never be done! I hired someone to do them for me and they were done much later than we had discussed. But, really - they were moreso for me anyway. There's only 14 of us total and everybody already has the date saved so to speak.

I just thought the idea of magnets was so cute and it'd make a nice memory to have on our fridge. They came out even more beautiful than I imagined!! Look at all the hidden Mickey's she designed for me!!

It's kinda hard to see, but it's double-layered metallic cardstock in our wedding colors. The calendar thingie is the magnet part. I just couldn't believe how great they look! I'll try to take a better picture later so I can show the shimmer paper because the flash ruined the picture. I'm just soooooooooooooo excited now!!!!!

Other than that, I haven't been doing much in the way of planning! I kinda feel like this is almost too easy! I doubt I'll be saying that a few months from now when there's favor drama among other things!! LOL!

Edit to add that I wasn't too crazy about how "Most" is on the second line instead of the third, it looks funny. But, when she sent me the preview image with "Most" on the third line with "Magical Place on Earth" it didn't line up right, so. I had to take the lesser of two evils, I suppose. I dunno, do you think it looks funny? I won't be hurt if you guys think so.
