Jess and Dennis's PJ: 09/15/08 WP, LSS, Lower French

welcome and congrats on planning something so special.... I think the flower would be a lovely tribute/memory. enjoy your planning and good luck with the dresses for the 16 year old. Our DDs will be in our VR and have only talked about dresses thus far- the task of finding ones could be a challenge. Enjoy and have fun. Look forward to reading more of your plans:)

I want to say Congrats on your upcoming wedding, and I am so sorry about your daughter.
If you haven't ever actually witnessed a butterfly release you probably wouldn't know why Disney says no. The butterflys are kept in the fridge in a basket with tulle around it. Once the tulle is lifted off they either fly away like the idea, or they cling and you spend 10 minutes shaking them loose. My former co-worker had this and she said almost a quarter of them were dead before they released them.
I love the stuffed animal idea. My husband's only full-brother died in 2000. He was his best friend. I was thinking of my husband possibly get something from his mother to set up in the reception, as well as for my grandmother and uncle who have died recently. Good luck!!!

I have not seen a butterfly release. Thank you for your information. I think I would be pretty upset if it didn't go right. Everyone has given me soooo many ideas for what I can do. I really like the sand ceremony. I found different versions of it yesterday. I hope it won't be a problem to get seven different colors of sand though.
