Jersey Girls...did you see Hysterical Blindness on HBO?

I live 2 towns away from Bayonne and have friends there....and I was in HS and college in the 80s. It was very sad though.

Have you caught The Family Man yet? It's playing on the premium channels a lot this month.

It's filmed in Teaneck and Closter, which are like my stomping grounds.

I caught the last 30 or so mins of it...when Uma Thurman was dancing around the bar trying to get that guy to dance w/her and he was being really mean.....then I changed channels because I realized I'd never be able to catch up and figure everything out at that point!

I was really into that movie, but ended up being a little disappointed in the ending...it just sorta well, ended. I felt it left the characters and what they would do now that everything "fell through" so to speak, were going to do....just sit on the front step for the rest of the summer

We don't have cable TV at home, but I watched it at a hotel on Sunday night. I really like Gena Rowlands, but I can't figure out what men think is so great about Uma Thurman! It was certainly a very unflattering portrayal of NJ women!

I guess Uma's character was so desperate for love that she looked for all the wrong things in a guy...but after developing that plot, I just don't quite get the ending. Gena Rowlands and Ben Gazarra played great parts too, I enjoyed seeing them.
