Hello Everyone!:)
Pleased to announce that we have decided to get married in Disney World and happy to be supported by all of you beautiful and lucky brides/brides-to-be and Grooms Congrats to you all!:woohoo:

Joe and I (Jenn) have been in love for 4 years now!

And although I have not received that most magical proposal as of yet, we both know its coming (hoping for this years vacation 9/30-10/13 2007) I call him my DF on here so no one gets confused:confused3
he is holding out for a spectacular ring that I am not allowed to see (I love surprises anyway!):rolleyes1

Heaven knows there will be plenty of amazing opportunities for him to ask during our 2-week stay so everyone blow some pixie dust my way and help me hope and wish and hope and wish that it happens in my most treasured place in all the universe!:wizard:

We are meeting with people on this trip to get the ball rolling for something Summer 2008!:cheer2:

All my life I have been a WDW addict! I have never been huge into big Cinderella weddings but boy how things change when you look at all of the lovely Brides on this board and pictures of their magical weddings:bride: ....All of a sudden I am on full blown Bride-to-be super planner mode!

We have tossed around a few ideas for the ceremony:idea:

Love the idea of the poly, but the weather can be so unpredictable, especially in the afternoons:scared:

Most recently we have been leaning towards SBP.:thumbsup2

I will continue to update as the details come in:yay:

Here are some of my dress choices so far...the first is the most recent find that is my favorite so far...Im a bit shall we say "top-heavy":rotfl: so dress shopping is very hard for me...the whole strapless thing...well it just ain't happenin' lol:rotfl: So you will notice that my choices leave room for bra straps!:lmao:

LOVE THIS ONE!:cloud9:

Damn I should have let you try on my dress before I had it altered. I don't know who the heck it was designed for, but obviously someone a whole lot more top heavy then me! Being a C cup I never thought I would have this issue, but obviously the dress maker thinks I should be a lot more ample up top. :rotfl2:

I absolutely LOVE all of the dresses! I don't see how you could pick! Sending Pixie dust for a MAGICAL proposal!

I love the second dress you've picked! Hopefully you get a proposal during your trip!

I could pull this off and LOVE IT

I have mid length super thick hair that obeys every command!

Brief details:

As I have posted many times already, We are have an untraditional wedding in a sense that we are having our reception before our ceremony. We are doing this back home in RI for the whole family to enjoy. That way everyone wins, they get to "send us off" on our honeymoon, as opposed to waiting until after we get back from our wedding and honeymoon to be celebrated then "sent off" to bed by family and friends! lol

I will be picking up a seperate dress for the back home reception from Davids Bridal ( shooting for one of the the $99 bluelight specials!)

And I will have my perfect one for the ceremony.

Most of the people in my family don't go to the actual ceremony for whatever reason ( perhaps it has something to do with 5 weddings in the past 2 years, or maybe they are all heavy sinners who knows! lol) so it will work out well for everyone!

I am hoping my godchild will attend as my flower girl (see below pic)

I will add more pictures tomorrow!

Joe's brother is a Chef at Potowomunt Golf Country Club in RI, so we were thinking about having our reception there...the photos do not do it justice!
(of course, he would not be cooking that night!)

Everything sounds great! Can't wait to hear more! Subsribing. My fav is dress #2

I just have to say, Thank goodness I started posting here because they won't tell me, but I think I may be driving my family insane over this....I talk about it everyday! Now that I have all of the fairy tales to read about on the boards, I am among my own kind and can go on and on and on about all my wishes and plans and we will all continue to just feed off each other!! Tehe!:goodvibes

well, hands down, that would be dress #2 - there is something so "princessy" about it in a stunning way - it is really a fabulous gown :cheer2:

Ok, I just had to jot this down so I remember the date!

Last night my mother gave me HUGE news

She was doing some thinking and # crushing and said if we get 30 or more people willing to attend our Disney Wedding then I will have Custom Wedding!!!:goodvibes

This is big for me because my family, though it makes us no different then anyone else, does not have much money to spend on these sorts of things. (living in Rhode Island is very very expensive too)

Thats why I decided to do an intimate/escape ... I would never ask them for a "big" wedding. It felt really good to know her gesture came straight from the heart.:)

Just wanted to share that :flower3:

Next Up: Getting a head count from the family:eek: .....
