So I got my revised BEO which added the dessert party for the Sunday night before the wedding. I can't attach a picture of it because I'm at work and photobucket is blocked here but I will copy and paste the text so you can see the costs...

I know, I couldn't believe how much the music costs, it's even more for the Marina, and that's true it really is for such a short period of time. I think your guests will still have a great time and won't really know the difference.

Yeah, it's too much. I mean the fireworks last what, 8 minutes? That's $60+ per minute!

So Danny loves all things Batman, lol. I indulge him... he has a belt buckle, a logo for his car and there's all sorts of Batman stuff at the house. He has a lunch box too

So for the wedding he will now wear these cufflinks!!

Sago Cay is so amazing! It was so much better than I expected it to be! I really do love the wishes music, but I definitely do not think it is worth $500!!! People which just be happy to see the fireworks, and they are really close, way better view than I expected anyway.

I know!! It's 48 days! I'm very excited... I think I'm more excited for the end of the school year first, this year has been awful, can't wait to say buh-bye to my students.

So I sent my planner an email asking her opinion on chair covers/sashes and colored napkins.

The chairs at Ariel's actually match the venue and our colors but I just feel like they look like convention chairs and will take away from the overall look we are trying to build. They're only $8.50 for 35 chairs, that's not too much... maybe $300 plus tax. And the napkins I just want to tie in the aquamarine color a bit more because it's only really represented by a small ribbon on the vase holding the centerpieces.

I'll see what she says when I get a response.

So Carol replied back and included a photo of a reception with chair covers and sashes and without. I have to say that the one with really seemed to flow well. I worry that in the end it won't matter but I get the feeling that when I walk in and see the naked chairs I'll be disappointed.

My two cents - you are most likely only doing this once - splurge for $3 something and get the chair covers and fun napkins. It's far better to spend an extra $300 and have no regrets then risk looking at all of your reception photos forever more and saying I should have...

I think that in your heart you know what you want to do. The last thing that a bride wants is to feel disappointment on her wedding day. You really won't need that many chairs and napkins so it won't cost you that much. I would say to go for it if you think that you will regret not doing it.

It is close, I'm starting to get excited, but I'm also looking forward to the end of the school year which is right before we leave to Disney. School ends the June 9th and we leave June 10th. When school ends I'll probably freak out

That's what I was telling my mom, it's only really 35 chairs max, so that's not too much money. I'm going to talk with Danny and see what he says.
