Well, my first attempt at a monogram went well tonight! Here's what I've got so far.

I'm going to make a few more with different layouts and wordings, but for now, I'm pretty darn proud of myself

I'm trying to incorporate this

into our monograms somehow, but that's still a work in progress!

Sorry I didn't post earlier... I wasn't sure if you were done moving your page over! I followed it last night and was sooo impressed! I really love your planning journal so far! You're so organized! I'm jealous!

BTW, congrats on your engagement!! You and your DF are soooo cute together!

Where did you happen to find this picture?

It looks like it was taken outside the chapel of my high school! No joke!!!

DF and I also love this shot (he calls me his Little Munchkin, so he thought this would be a perfect display of that nickname hehehe)-

Overall, your ideas are great! I especially like your colors and the style of dresses you picked out. Did you just go to try on dresses for fun? I think I'm going to start doing that, just to get an idea of what I like.

I think a reception in the Great Movie Ride would ROCK! Check out Janet2K's posts for more info. She had a party in there once (it may or may not have been a vow renewal, I can't honestly remember, but it looked like soooo much fun!)

I can't wait to hear more... especially since you are a fellow 2009 bride We both have a TON more planning to do over the next year and beyond!

Awwww! Thanks girls.... I can't take all the credit. I just picked up a few tricks along my 2 year journey of planning so far.

And Kashmir....I picked up that picture from a "Must Have Photos" thread. Actually that's where I got all of them, except for the one of Tim and I. And Tim absolutely loved that second picture....he's a foot taller than me

Probably at 18 months out, we'll start seriously looking into serious decisions. Until then, I'll just enjoy making decisions about certain things, like for instance, Tim and I LOVE the "Beauty & The Beast" table setting. We're only having around 30-40 people, so doing an elaborate table like this will be a bit easier since we only need a few tables.

OK, that's not the *only* thing I'm impressed with. I LOVE all the must-have photos. Such a great idea. We haven't gotten our formal photos back yet, so maybe Randy will surprise us, but I don't think we got nearly as many fun, relaxed photos.

Thank you!! It's nice to have a fiance who's never been to DW before too (well, not that he can remember ), so this will also be a special time for him to enjoy everything about Disney! And having him so involved is great too

And as much as I'd like to take credit for that little tidbit of info, I can't. Well, I mean I can take a TINY bit of it, but not much. I have a WONDERFUL wedding guru friend who taught me that trick. I'm glad it can make your day though!!

Thank you Christina!! I'm glad you love following along....I try not to make it boring We've been planning our wedding for over 2 years, and although it hasn't always been for a DFTW, we know basically what we want. It's just a matter of getting down there to see exactly what our options are...then we'll be able to get a better idea of how our wedding will look.

So I noticed today that my ticker is down to 1 year instead of 2 That makes me SOOOOOO happy, you have no idea I know the rest of the time will be flying by, but I just want to be married to Tim already!

But on another note, I'm trying to think of a cute, creative way to ask my BM's to stand up with me. I'm having my sister as my MOH. She's 15 years older than me, but she is seriously like my best friend, especially through the past few years with things between me/Tim and my parents. I want to ask her first just in case she says no. She is married with 2 teenage kids, so I know she's busy, money doesn't grow on trees, so she might not want the responsibilities that come along with helping me.

Then for the other 2 girls in my party, I'm debating whether or not I want them as BM's or name them as additional MOH's. I feel the same way Tim does about his guys. They've each been a significant part of my life, sometimes at the same time, and sometimes not.

I think I'll be waiting until around Christmas to ask all 3 of them, probably as Christmas presents for the other 2, and a birthday present for my sister.

Does anyone know of a cute Disney-ish idea that I could use? I was thinking of making a card with a picture of Cinderella and another princess but I can't find a good picture like that.

Other than that, I can't think of anything....if anybody can give me any ideas, I'd REALLY appreciate it!!

Love the planning journal so far!! Love seeing all the photos - I am the same, even though I have no plans to get married for another 5 years, I can't help saving photos I like just in case I forget them. I was going to post this one up for you, but saw you had it already:

It's one of my favourite photos - lots of people in the photo, everyone having fun, but they look like they're the only 2 people in the world...

And yeah, about the planning, it's driving me NUTS not being able to really plan things yet! I have so many ideas floating around in my head but nothing to really do with them yet

I love your planning journal, and I love the idea of asking your BM in a special way. I haven't officially asked mine yet, but I think they all know who they are. I think it would be cute to ask them someway special.
