Ive decided that I may as well have a go at one of these, if its a load of rubbish then I apologise now!!
So, it was at the start of this year that I convinced DH that we should go back to WDW for another holiday, I was having major withdrawal symptoms after last years trip and as you know the only treatment is to book another!!
We booked to go in October for half-term week and the week after, we couldnt go our usual time in November in case I had a teaching job then (I was still at uni doing my PGCE at this point), I thought that if I did have a job in October it wouldnt be a big problem taking the week after half-term off as most companies honour holidays that are already booked.
Anyway, in July I got a full-time teaching job at the college where I had had my placement and I casually mentioned to one of my friends there about the holiday, she told me I didnt have any chance of them letting me take the holiday! So that was the end of that!
So, we starting looking at other dates, I wanted to go next Easter but it was already booked up, I priced up this Christmas but it was over £1000 more than we usually spend. We decided that we would go to WDW next summer and go to New York in October for a few days. When I priced it up though it was over £1800 for 4 days which was double what we paid last time, after talking about we decided that instead of paying out £1800 for 4 days we may as well pay £3000 for 2 weeks in WDW! So I booked it staright away before DH could change his mind!
I booked a few ADRs a couple of months ago at the Crystal Palace, Sci-Fi diner and Rainforest cafe. I thought about booking MVMCP but didnt in the end as I read that the fireworks and parade for that are the same as the ones used in the few days before Christmas. When we get there though we may decide that we do want to do it and may try and get tickets.
Ive done a plan for what park we will do each day, I dont usually plan much but as it will be so busy I decided it would a good idea to have a rough plan. As usual our first day will be at MK as I love to see the castle on my first morning!
So, its only a few days to go now, the suitcases are half packed, just got the last few bits to put in. Tickets, passports and money are ready and we are just impatiently counting down the days!!
Pop Century and WDW here we come!!
