June 25, 2007---- MY WEDDING DAY!!!

Finally it was here, the day I had been planning for a year and a ½ since we got engaged! Scratch that… the day I’ve been dreaming of my whole life The day my brother would insist would never happen for me- haha!

At 4 am I hop out of bed feeling full of adrenaline! My original plan was to go for a run but I didn’t realize we’d be waking up so early, so the run didn’t happen. I was full of enough adrenaline without it though

I went across the hall to the other room to wake up my mom so she could shower. As I passed the living room I heard Paul snoring And Jimmy was awake from it! He yelled at me for making Paul sleep in his “room”. Come on little bro, it’s my wedding day, get in a better mood! I wake up my mom and run back to my room and hop in the shower. I remember one bride’s TR from awhile ago saying she cut herself really badly shaving the morning of her wedding. So, I shaved the night before to avoid this. Thanks for the advice fellow Dis bride

I get out of the shower, put on my little hoodie outfit and headed out to the kitchen for breakfast. Diane, my EM, insists that no bride eats the morning of her wedding. I told her over and over that she didn’t have to worry about that with me I ate a mini-bagel w/ peanut butter, a banana, said bye-bye to my girls and my mom and I were on our way over to the BC. The BC Marketplace doesn’t open until 6 am and I obviously needed coffee asap. So, Susan was going to go to the BC Marketplace at 6 am on the dot and get coffee for me, mom, and Linda and bring it to Linda’s room. BMs come in so useful

In the elevator in the BC we met a guy around my age who was wasted. He asked my mom and me where we were out at all night. We’re like, we’re just getting up. He’s like “No way! People get up this early? Ya’ll are crazy!” I told him he was the crazy one for staying up til 5 am, but he insists that’s normal for most people We get to Linda’s room and it’s amazing! I wish we had our cameras! The view was so beautiful! To see all the lights that light up Stormalong Bay and the Boardwalk was just breathtaking! I was so glad Linda suggested getting ready here b/c it was so beautiful and peaceful

Getting my hair and make-up done was rather uneventful. I was thrilled with how it looked though! Linda just played around w/ my hair a couple weeks ago and she came up w/ the style. We had 2 more trial runs after that so she could make sure she had it down. I loved it! The one eventful thing that did happen is when Susan brought the coffee she told us it was free. Apparently, if you go to the BC Marketplace between 6- 7 am the coffee is free. Who knew!

A little after 7, I’m done and decide to head back to the room to check on the girls. I didn’t wait for my mom b/c Randy was coming at 7:45 and I knew he was known for being early, so I wanted to make sure the room was clean enough for him to photograph.

I felt a little funny walking from BC to BCV in my veil and everything , I definitely got some stares! I get back to the room and Jess is doing all their hair and make-up and they all just look so pretty They’re not even in their dresses yet but I almost cry at how pretty they all look.

(one garter was a NY Giants one Jess made me and the other was one w/ a picture of Nati in it that Jeff's mom made me)

At this time Jimmy and Paul had just showered and about to eat breakfast. Jimmy asks Paul what he wants for breakfast and he makes it for him (granted it’s just a bagel, but still funny). While they’re eating, Jimmy is about to get up and get an OJ refill for himself but Paul jumps up from the far side of the table to get it for him. So we all think they fell in love on the beach last night watching Pirates

Jen i love your TR!! haha you have me cracking up with all of this Jimmy and Paul talk! I can invision everything you are saying--- especially the OJ. I know you are just giving them a hard time . You look so beautiful and your hair turned out perfect. Where did you get the girls' dresses? I absolutely love the color (you ended up having a lot of clothes match the color as well which i love!).

Im glad you were pleased with Randy! He's definitely a nice guy.

Cant wait to hear more about the big day-- and see if anything develops out of this Jimmy/Paul relationship.
