Ok, I'm trying to plan my spur of the moment trip to florida. I definitely want to get to Jellyrolls (it was, by far, my FAVORITE place in Disney) - should we go Thursday night or Saturday? (I'm going to try to make dinner reservations at the flying fish beforehand, not sure if that matters or not - Jellyrolls is the imporant thing!)

um...what is jellyrolls?

Jellyrolls is a dueling piano bar. It's on the boardwalk (on the corner of the walk towards the Swan/Dolphin hotels)

Basically two piano players play request from the crowd. It's a sing-along kind of place - it was SO much fun when we went!

Ahh, though I see from another thread that you're a teen? unfortunately, Jellyrolls is 21+ to enter (no exceptions). (but keep it in mind for when you are 21 - it really IS a great time!)

lol yes, i knew that it was, but i didnt know exactly what it was...with a strange name like that, who cant help but wonder?

I find that most nights at Jellyrolls have about the same amount as far as the crowd goes--some nights may be a bit busier than others, but for the most part, it seems to be pretty packed and fun when I'm there. The difference between a Thursday and a Saturday isn't that big.

If I was only going one night, and trying to decide, I would go to www.thepianomen.com, and check out who was playing so I can see my favorite (Scotty and Ray). The schedule comes out about two weeks in advance.

I am looking forward to going when I am down there May 21 - 25, most likely will be there on the first night, the only thing I need to check is the best way for the bus transportation.

I usually take a bus from whatever park I'm in at the end of the day to the Boardwalk. I take a cab back to my hotel at the end of the night. I can't be bothered to take a bus to Downtown Disney, and a second bus to my resort. Cabs are pretty inexpensive (never costs me more than $10).

I can't remember what night it was, but we were invited to join a group of the cast members from Canada at JellyRolls... I think it was Tuesday night, but I guess that is a night when a lot of the cast members visit there....that would be fun!
