Just in our news: Mandatory evacuation for Brevard County which covers Cape Canaveral, Merritt Islands.

We should start feeling effects of Jeanne somewhere around 9PM on Saturday and winds will be from 40 to 108 miles per hour for about 29 hrs.

Sunrise sunday will be when it touches landfall and eyewall will be put around Brevard County.

Curfews placed into effect.

The evacuation order also applies to manufactured homes and low-lying areas, WESH NewsChannel 2 reported.

Officials are also issuing a mandatory curfew between 8:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. beginning Saturday night. No alcohol will be sold during the curfew hours.
