Jazz Trio at LSS / Glass Piano

I'm loving the sound of having a Jazz Trio at our Reception, which I think will be held at the Living Seas Salon, but wanted to check if the Jazz Trio includes a pianist, coz I've just gotta see someone playing that beautiful glass piano!
Although perhaps the trio would have their own instruments, in which case it may only be a solo pianist that would use the glass piano?

Does anyone know anything about this?

Sure, here's a couple.

As you can see, we had a piano player, a trumpet player, and a bass player. I wouldn't want to guarantee those are the same instruments that are always in the trio, but it's probably a safe bet. They were really fantastic, and our guests loved the music.

I also noticed in another post you were wondering if 30 guests would be too few at LSS. We had 31 guests, and we didn't feel lost at all. It was a great venue. Everyone loved it!

Can I ask where you had your dessert party (if you had one that is!) - I'm still trying to suss out the best location for us and with you having a similar amount of guests, it'd be interesting to know where you chose and why?

We are having 35 guests, our dp is at italy plaza-next to isola- kind of a peninsula off the main strip! It is not very private but Marion ensured me they never have problems with people intruding You can get them to do a screen- for alot! I think the quote was $2500. I guess we take our chances and not worry about it!

I was interested in that area actually but I assumed the screening would be free of charge!
I'm thinking perhaps one of the UK terraces now....

Sounds like you're repeating my wedding... (we had it at Italy courtyard as well).

Anyway, we only had them during the pre-reception and the reception. We did not have them for the ceremony. What we did for the ceremony was burn music to a CD and gave it to our planner. I believe we had to pay for the sound system, but I'm not sure how much that cost. It would probably be very similar to doing the iPod setup. I don't think it's as complicated as it sounds...
