After no luck finding a decent used TT, we went look at new ones today. Really liked the Jayco 28BHBE. Any opinions on Jayco or this particular style? Thanks

We have owned 3 Jayco brand TT. We give them :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I will add, get the one you want first time. It's expensive trading up.

ash901,

I just traded in a Jayco popup that I had bought new 10 years ago. I followed the Jayco brand and rep for 10 years and it has a strong rep in the industry.

As far as that particular model is concerned, it looks very spacious with the slide out, 2 doors, and double bed bunks. If you've got the tow vehicle to pull and stop 9,200# GVWR, it looks like an exciting choice.

I own a 32BHDS and love it. Jayco is the only brand currently offering a two year warranty. While I am still "young" in the travel trailers I cannot say a single bad thing about it. Would highly recommend Jayco to anyone.

Thank you! He did tell us about the warranty. They didn't have this style at the lot we went to, but he should be calling us when the new ones arrive. We are in no rush. Thanks again.

I am on my third Jayco. I started in a Hybrid Jayco and have continued trading up as the family got bigger. I can say that I have only had minor problems except for the newest trailer. The black tank on this trailer split on me after about 4 months. However, I believe that it was my fault yet Jayco replaced it under warranty with no questions asked.

While we have looked at other manufactures, we also end up buying a Jayco.

We just bought our first TT, Jayco Flight 281BHS. We have the double bunks and LOVE them. On the model you picked the separate door in bathroom is really nice !!! We love our Jayco so far and like other have said, they have been around so long it makes me feel confident they are a good brand. Also they are so well made !!!!

Just re-read the thread. 32BHDS is the model we currently own and like it very much.

I do have to go back and add that one thing on this model is that the outdoor kitchen sink feeds to the black tank, and not the grey tank. Learned this the hard way as I overfilled the tank once because I was watching the monitor for the grey tank and not the black tank.

On the flip side, it does make filling the black tank for flushing a lot easier than holding down the toilet handle :thumbsup2

Never owned one myself, but we have been RV'ing for 15 years, see plenty of them at campgrounds, never on the side of the road...they've been around a long time for a reason. And I agree with others, get the one you want:thumbsup2

Just bought a 2014 Jayco JayFlight Swift SLX 145RB. A shoebox on wheels but enough for my wife and I. The 2 year warranty was definitely a plus. Jayco has a good reputation in general and a good reputation among my RV friends. Looks like a very nice rig!

The biggest thing is just to know what you are getting into. A reputable dealer is a must, A great dealer you will use for a lifetime is a real plus! Always carefully consider size, weight, etc.

Happy camping!
