Just a couple more pictures before some of the real fun begins..lol
We made some shirts for our parents and bridal party to wear when we went to the MK after the wedding. First trial that trace and I did didnt come out so good..mainly cause we didnt cut them down and read the directions carefully..lol
But the second run of them came out great thanks to Trace and her awesome ironing....she is the real iron lady..lol

Here are the groomsman gifts i got the guys. Each one got a messenger bag, Vinylmation Robots box, Egraved cuff links, Groomsman survival kit(jack daniles,malibu,1800, and absente) and a marvel character..those will be all introduced later...oh yes!

ok so I found a couple more things to post before the B parties..lol

Trace decided to make some cookies as favors for everyone. I wont complain cause thats means she makes cookies..and they are amazing...I sometimes say thats why i married her..lol....
Anyways she spent about 2 days making 150 cookies...thats 12.5 batches!!!!
I designed a label for them and went to staples and bought the bags and lebel things.

Ill post some of the pics of them at the reception when I get them.
From what I heard they were a big hit at the reception. People were askin other guests if they wanted theirs so they could have more. I actually didnt get to have any..but I have the baker at my house so I guess I really get the win there..lol

Ok so I think the B parties should be next..Ill try and post part one of those later....

I love everything you did! Especially the cookies, that is such a great idea. I love to bake cookies as well, I go a little crazy at Christmas time... we definitely had a few hundred cookies, but between visiting all of our families most of them disappeared! The cookies Tracie made look delicious, and I love the labels!

Alright, Lets do some bachelor and bachelorette parties.

So it was the week before we were heading up to Disney and nothing had happened yet. I knew Trace's party was gonna be Dec. 30th, but had no clue what adam and the guys had planned for me. All I knew was that I probably was gonna drink a lot. I know Trace and them had a joke going that if she got a "hangover" phone call...(We screwed up)..she was gonna kill adam..lol
I know some of the guys wanted wanted to do the normal bachelor party things..strippers..drinks..exotic places..etc...but thats not really me. Ive been to a couple strip clubs before and I gotta say I found it to be really akward and weird. Prolly cause I went with a group of single people and I was not single. Anyways it was akward..lol

So thursday 12-29 morning, Trace wakes me up at about 6 in the morning and tells me that her sisters car broke down and was sitting at a gas station close to my house and that we needed to help. I was slow to get up but I did. While I was getting dressed though, a couple thoughts crossed my mind.
1. I know absolutely nothing about cars and how to fix them, why are we going to help.
2.why isnt her sisters boyfriend or dad going to help

So I put on some clothes and started walking out of my room and I turn the corner and Adam and Chris are standing there. I wish there was a picture taken of my face cause I was totally surprised. I was like hey guys what are you doin here..and they were like were goin to Orlando..lets go! Trace had a bag already packed for me with supplies and a couple of vinyls to trade..lol love her...and I looked at her and asked if we still needed to pick her sister up and she said no, that was just a diversion to wake me up. So we were off to WDW!!!!

We had an awesome car ride up to the world that consisted of tons of coupon books, prank phone calls and man love songs. We ended up parking at DTD and did some vinyl trades while walking around. We got there at about 11 so it was just around opening. I forgot who mentioned it, but someone suggested that it would be funny to take stupid/weird tourist pictures. That was a mistake..lol...so the rest of the day thats all we did, except they got a little more funny later on once we had some drinks in us..lol

So none of the bars opened yet..it was only like 1..lol...so we decided to do some resort hoppin. We got a bus to the Contemporary and ran into some fun companions, Spider man, Iron Man, and Captain America

Sooooo...we get to Contemporary and learn that the bar next to Chef Mickey's doesnt open until 4:30..its 2. Arcade? Ok!
Spent some time in there and out of curiosity started playing Deal or no deal. the top prize was 1000 tickets. At this point we only needed like 60 ticmets to get these Marvel thumb characters we thought were funny. Played it once and ended getting 80 tickets the first game. Steve wanted to go for the thousand so we played again. I picked number 6 all day(got married on Jan 6th..lol) and we took it all the way to the end and won 1000 tix..it was crazy..

The machine ran out of tix so they owed us 989 of them. lets just say we had 1200 tickets to get whatever we wanted..lol...oh what fun...to be continued..

OK..so 1200 tickets..lol...what do ya get with that?..well surprisingly not a lot....I dont know if its inflation or greed or what but prizes have really gotten expensive since my chuck-e-cheeses days. Now we really needed another 60-70 to get the set of stupid marvel finger nubs we wanted, but 1200...geez.
Why marvel characters?? well that goes back to early fall when Trace and I went in a Disney store in Va and found a group of Marvel plushes. After some thinking I decided to get them for the guys. I always liked Wolverine, Adam loved the Iron Man movies, Bryan is blonde, so I got him Thor, Steve seemed to just fit Captain America, and Chris seemed to fit Spiderman. The only one I didnt get was Hulk...who I never really liked so meh....so they all got them as part of their groomsman gifts(see picture in previous post). At the time that I bought them, however, I didnt realize that the characters would be a major part of our time in Disney...lol it was great.

OK so back to the Bachelor party..lol...Bryan forgot to bring Thor with him, and I..being surpised by the morning ambush forgot to bring Wolverine..so we were down 2 characters. Thats the reason why we were tryin to get the Marvel finger nubs to complete the characters...We ended up waiting like a half hour to get the tickets put on a card, cause apparently the arcade is the place to be mid-day on a thursday at the Contemporary and there was only one attendant working the place. Now at the same time we didnt mind waiting...it was about 3 and bars still didnt open for another hour or so...so help finally arrived..from lifeguards??...well the CM working the arcade was apreciative of us waiting so she ended up giving us tons of stuff. What stuff we get?
We(I) thought it would be funny to get Jersey Shore(hate that show) Douche glasses and wear them around. Also got princess tattooes, our marvel characters, fake mustaches and some candy..funny thing is I still have a card with 700+ tickets on it.

At about 4 we got to Poly and saw that the bar at Ohanas was open. now the only the guys said I had control over was when we started drinking...after that all my decision making was over for the day and we had to get something at every bar.Well as rafiki put it...IT IS TIME! first drink for me was a long island...my drink o choice.

the guys had I think some mai tais...steve was our dd so he had water and sodas..yay thanks steve.
Adam also got me a tequila shot..now Ive actually never done a real tequila shot..with salt and lime...and honestly it wasnt any better than doin it without the add ons..lol..oh well still did it.

So, done with poly and we were gonna head back to DTD..well we get to the bus stop and see this.

now this is first accident I have ever seen on wdw property. Dont know if it was the bus or cars fault, but we werent gettin a bus outa there anytime soon...so off to the GF
We had someone take this for us seeing how we would be taking the same picture just in our tuxes a week later..lol

On the bus back to DTD

At DTD, I always get a rum runner from the margarita bar by the marina. of course the guys told the CM that it was my bachelor party and he put a little extra 151 on top for me. yay.

I guess they put some chairs and benches from Adventures Club outside by the Comedy Wearhouse area. Nice to sit for a bit

Got a bus to Boardwalk. we were gonna try goin to Jellyrolls, though it just opened at 7, they wanted a $10 cover and no one was in it yet so we gave up on that. Watched a magic show..and we played the lobster game!!!

ESPN was crowded cause there was a couple of bowl games on. We found some free space at the Big River bar and I got my last drink of the night. Another Long Island..that the bartender decided to make blue..

Well after half of that drink..I was done..lol..I know when im goin and I was feelin it. I dont remember how(im assuming bus) but we got back to DTD and our car and were heading back home on the turnpike. My stomach was not feelin well at all. I told my self if I could make it past mile 200 I would be fine. Well, I made it to 181. So now my friends and I pay homage to mile marker 181 on turnpike south. LOL.

Thats my bachelor party. It was the best ever..besides the 6 days in Disney for the wedding...I really appreciate everything the guys did for me that day. couldnt have been better.

Hahah, oh my goodness--Your Bach party looked like so much fun! That's awesome your guys surprised you with a trip to Disney. All the drinks look delicious. Also...love that you were all different Marvel characters. OH and that lobster game down at the BoardWalk also played a role in my wedding day. There's no escaping that thing!
