He's been life flighted to a hospital in Kentucky. He was practicing at Kentucky Speedway. I guess he's a pro-driver too. I hope he's okay.

I just heard this on the TV. I hope he's going to be okay, I'm watching for more details. I loved him on 90210.

I heard about this when I went to lunch with friends. I do pray that he will be okay. Thanks for the link Becki

Yes. Vey sad. I still hope to see him racing in the big show someday.

In the good news column, Sarah Fisher has become the first woman to qualify for a pole position in an Indy car.

I never watched 90210, but I know who he is. I hope he's ok. Anyone hear any updates?

The only update I've heard is he's awake and talking to the doctors, which is a really good sign!

oh I hope he is okie!

they did an update on tv and said he was in serious but stable condition and they said all his injuries but I can't remember :rolleyes:

This is from Excite Sports News

Actor Jason Priestley's race car crashed head-on into a wall at nearly 180 mph Sunday at the Kentucky Speedway, breaking his back and leaving him in serious condition with a head injury.

I can't believe I missed that! They need a reunion show, hopefully with a recovered JP!;)

I absolutly LOVE that show! Followed it since high school! I hope hes okay.

I liked that show too. Brandon was always my favorite.

So sad to hear about his accident. I hope he has a full recovery.

That is our local speedway, located in Kentucky near me and Shep, it just opened last year or so. It made the news big time here!

His feet are broken, and the scarey thing is he broke his spine, too. :( They said he is coherent(sp?). They were getting ready to take him into surgery.

I admit, I was a 90210 devotee too. The latest news said that he had a spinal fracture in the middle of his back and a closed head injury, as well as a broken nose and broken bones in both feet. They said that at this time, there's no indication there's any other injury to the head (besides a concussion), his vital signs are stable, he has his eyes open, he looks around and will follow commands and they said there appears to be no sign of paralysis, which is a really good thing considering he hit head on.

:bounce::wave::bounce:

Today they are saying that he should fully recover.
