Japan/Morocco/UK Pubside DP Fireworks pictures

Still debating a DP... there's only 6 of us, four adults and two kids. I really want to do the DP for the fireworks shots in my wedding dress, so I'm trying to figure out the best location for this.

I'm not sure if Morocco is even an option because there's only 6 of us, but I know UK Pubside is an option (thanks Lurkyloo!) and Japan should be an option as well.

Can anyone who had DP's at these locations show me their fireworks pictures (with the bridal couple in them), pretty pretty please?

Lurkyloo... if you're reading this... Do you think I can get similar pictures at UK Pubside to what you had taken at UK Lower? I adore your pictures from UK Lower and this is really what I'm after. Sorry for all the questions/indecision... you're probably super sick of me by now.

Hiya! You know, I love the view from UK pubside and think it's better than that of UK Lochside, but it seems like any pictures you take of people in the eating area at Pubside are going to include the roof/arbor thingy. (I know I've shown you these pix already, but just for future readers...)

However, you might be able to get shots along the wall leading to UK Pubside.

It's kinda hard to tell, but there is a dark area slicing across the bottom of this picture that is the wall. Maybe you could stand here - I'm not sure exactly where the Roots took this shot:

As you can see in these pix, depending on where you are along the wall, the fireworks may be off-center:

Morocco

The fireworks shot Jensey got of Lori at her dessert party was taken from the side (it's bad form to steal another photographer's shot ) so you can't really tell how the fireworks look, but man do those crazy lovebirds look cute!

Thanks! Is the walkway to the Pubside closed off for our use as well then? I was thinking that we could take non-roof shots here, but wasn't sure if there would be people down there in our way.

How tall is the wall at Morocco? That shot of lori and her dh look fantastic... so in love.

I've managed to find a picture or two here and there from Japan and they all have lots of people's heads in the background... so I'm thinking Japan may be out of the running, just because of how far back it is from the actual water/railing/wall.

Maybe we should just have a disbrides meet and greet DP at UK lochside... I'd meet my quota and get the fireworks shots I want.

Lurkyloo... I also just realized that we were there the same night as you when you had your anniversary dp. Only we watched Illuminations from our window at BCV... the boys were fast asleep.

That last picture Carrie posted is a great representation of what Morocco looks like for the DP. I had my party there and the Disney Photography pictures are not good, otherwise I would post them...it's kind of like a you have to see it in person to appreciate it place.

That is so cool!

The whole walkway is yours - I'm pretty sure our event guide stood at the entrance the entire time (bless her - it was freezing!) or they roped it off. No one was allowed down there with us.

But, personally, I prefer your DIS brides meet 'n' greet idea!


The wall at Morocco is not too high - this pic might give you an idea of its height compared to chairs and Stan from STVS....

I have others of the setup and stuff if you want to see them, but Lurkyloo posted some really good ones plus I know you asked specifically for pics with bride and groom in them...

P.S. The wall is not that high. I'm only 5'1" and I could see fine! (as you can tell from the pics!)

Just an update... I booked UK Pubside for our DP! My date/time is free, now Pam is just waiting to hear back from Epcot and get the final okay to do our DP there. I think it's just a formality, I hope it's just a formality... fingers crossed for me please!

We also figured out pictures... I gave dh a nice DSLR camera for his birthday (Canon Rebel XSi) and he's getting a tripod for Christmas, so I think we're going to attempt to take our own pictures at Illuminations. We're going to do some test shots when we're there in a few weeks and see how they turn out.

15 days until we leave for our trip... first stop my cousins wedding, then on to DW! I'll definitely post pictures when I get back. I will probably add them to my pj, since I look at this trip as a planning session of sorts (for me)... even if I don't officially have one going on.

Can I cheekily ask how much it was to book the UK pubside as I only have 14 people at our wedding and we were thinking of doing a DP there as we dont know what to do otherwise.
