January part of the rainy season??

Is this typical late December and January weather? For the past 3 weeks and forecast for next week I see rain 4 to 5 days out of 7 each of those weeks. At least a 20-30% chance nearly daily. Is this to be expected this time of year? Thought Jan. was normally one of the drier months for WDW.

Though not really normal, most Fla storms are relatively fast moving and not all day rains. No matter what time of year we go, we always pack a couple ponchos with us. Most times, if you get in line for an inside attraction, by the time you get out, the showers have passed

January is Florida coldest months. There is no rainy season in Florida. Rain happens almost daily in Florida just take a poncho and go with the flow.

Not true about there being no rainy season in Florida,rainy season is June through early October when it rains like all the time.Since around Christmas the weather has been real funky,not normal at all.It does rain this time of year but it's usually when cold fronts move in and that's usually a gray overcast day with light rain followed by beautiful weather,usually crisp cool days,then the temps usually warm up with some more clouds but not much rain until the next front.Since Christmas it seems like almost every day has been cloudy with more rain than usual.For example right now it's around 50 in my house and there's light rain which is weird since a cold front passed yesterday and usually there's no rain after it passes and the temperatures drop to where they're at now.Trust me I live here and it has been strange.
