I know there are none available yet, but does anyone know (or remember) if there are any specials or discounts that are generally available for January room-only ressies? I want to book a value resort for one night at the start of our vacation and a moderate for 1 night at the end (DVC points in the middle). We were just going to stay Sat-Fri but found out that airfare is $500 cheaper if we return on Saturday. Of course, that will probably change too, but I'm keeping the options open. Would it be better to book my room-only ressies now and then try to apply a discount if one comes out? We are not 100% sure if we are staying the extra night, but I think a room-only can be cancelled without penalty up to 5 days out correct? This is so confusing!
I like the idea of being able to add an extra day to our trip for little or no extra cost. I also like the idea of being able to stay at 2 new resorts. My DD3 has already set her sights on CSR because she likes the pictures of the playground! Since we only have 6 day park tickets and (hopefully) 7 days planned, she might actually have an opportunity to play on it!
