We always stay in our Disney cocoon when we come to Orlando, but we really want to see the WWoHP so we are coming down Jan 2nd & spending 3 nights. Just wondering what the crowds at the parks are like in early January.

Also, can you make reservations at the 3 broomsticks?

Thanks,

Historically the crowds have been light after 1/2 but HP has brought the crowds this year. Other than WWoHP, the parks should be pretty quiet.

You can not make reservations at Three Broomsticks...it's counter service. You can only make reservations at table service restaurants.

As Metro said, January is historically one of the slowest months. WWOHP is the game changer, and January may be more like March (March is neither slow nor busy, but can be at times). If you go to the Three Broomsticks before (11) or after (3) the Lunch Rush, you should have minimal wait. IOA is open until 7 all month in Jan, so you'll be able to see a lot of stuff easily; some will be able to be seen at night!
