I'll be in DLP in January 08, 2nd week (maybe),

I wanted to know how crowded it will be, if you have crowd pictures or could give me an idea how long are the wait times.

Than You

It should not be crowded but will be bitterly cold.
Have a look at the trip reports for previous experiences :goodvibes

Do you mean it shouldn't be crowded, Reid? I've visited on a weekday in January and it was wonderfully quiet. Weekends will probably still be quite crowded though.

And yes, it will be cold!!!

Okay so there are probably a few more people watching on Main Street, but here are the "crowds" gathered for the parade on a Thursday in January!!

Hi

We went in the middle of January this year and it was reasonably quiet. We weren't waiting for long , even on the most popular rides.(we didn't need to bother with fast passes)

It was pretty cold though and some stuff was closed on one day because of the wind but it certainly didn't spoil our time. The parades carried on regardless.

I think it is great to go just after the Christmas season and all the sale stuff in the shops is a bonus too :rotfl:

We went in January 07 and it was VERY quiet ... it was fab!!! We are planning going back either the 2nd or 3rd wk next year.

But honestly be warned it was absolutely freezing to the point of freezing your lungs off when you breathed!!!:rotfl: It stung your face and legs and that was me with long johns and jeans on!!!:thumbsup2

One good thing though is you get the characters all to yourself!!!!;) I honestly don't think I would consider a summer DLP holiday at the moment.

Good luck on buying the snow boots and ski suits!!!!!:scared1: ...I've got mine ready!!! xxxxx

Hi Mayra

We were there this year Jan 11th-15th 2007.

The weekdays were really quite on the Monday we rode B.T.M 4 times in 25 mins but the Sat and Sun were much much more crowded ride time for B.T.M 60mins.

I took salopettes and snow boots for my boys to keep warm and cosy but we were really lucky with the weather and they didn't wear them at all

All the restaurants are all very quite too.We were able to go into Walts and Cafe Mickey that morning and get a table for the evening ...no booking before you go.

I would recommend going this time of year especially if you have young kids who do not enjoy waiting

I also am going in January. The 4th-8th which is a Friday to Tuesday. I live in the states and am use to cold snowy winters. My "kids" are 18 and 22 year old girls and are very excited. They have been to Disneyland in California and Disney World in Orlando. Originally I was taking them to Paris and doing a day trip to Disneyland, but they so wanted to stay at Disney, so we are now doing a daytrip into Paris and staying in Disney! We will just be dressing warm and hope the weather is okay :)
Crowds we can handle, but I doubt it would be as bad as the summer.

Thank you for the replies

I guess we'll dress warm. I have some shopping to do

I'd prefer the cold instead of the crowds and the heat.
