January 8, 2006- 4 night Wonder- Anybody else coming with?

"Tag" sounds like fun. I'm still a little confused on it. But it sounds like a lot of fun. DH and I are interested in it. I like the idea the other tagers had about bringing something from your State to "tag" the others with. That would be fun and interesting and give everyone a chance to get to know everyone.

I'd also be interested in playing "tag." It would be a really fun way to get acquainted. And I promise to bring something other than cheese from my home state! :goodvibes
So now we just have to figure out what's involved in setting it up. All the room numbers? (when final). What else?

I'm also happy to help with tag. I'm having fun thinking of what to bring from CA. :sunny:

DH and I have decided to go back to WDW after the cruise for one night instead of staying in CoCoa beach. I guess we will head back after we visit the Space Center and get a little more WDW magic before we fly home on Fri. Any idea where to eat since we will not be going into any parks??

Has anybody tried to access the DCL website in the last day?

I was on there yesterday getting info for a friend, working just fine and all of a sudden it won't load right anymore. :confused3

Maybe it's because they are updating it with all of our wonderful upgrades :teeth:

Hey we can dream can't we.

It's been cold, blustery, snowy and plain old disgusting here for the past few days.

Makes you really look forward to what's to come :cheer2:

I tried opening the page, and while it loaded, it loaded much slower then normal. Then, when I clicked on "My Disney Cruise", I got this:

"We're having a problem with our reservation system that will prevent you from booking your vacation package or retrieving your reservation right now. We're sorry for any inconvenience. Please call your travel agent or call (800) 951-3532 weekdays 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. ET or weekends 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. ET and our agents will gladly assist you with all your Disney Cruise Line vacation planning needs.

Status Code: 500"

I get that every once in a while...and as we know, when systems tend to go down, it's aaalways over a holiday :earboy2: No rest for the poor Techie Server guys ;)

I was able to get in just a few minutes ago to check and see if they had assigned room numbers yet. Of course they haven't assigned anything yet :badpc: , but I was able to get in!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We spent it with family on Thursday and friends on Friday down in Atlanta. It's fun getting away, but coming home to laundry and the start of a new week is always hard! But the food was gooooooooood!!

GAAAAAAAAAAH!!! Somebody stop me! I have developed a situational OCD! I simply can't stop checking the DCL site to see if my room has been assigned. :teeth:

I think the problem is this: remember that commercial where this guy is surfing the internet, and the computer pops up and says "You have reached the internet, please turn back". *Sigh* I think I've reached the end of the internet in regards to planning my vacation :badpc: I've planned everything, I've researched everything I can think to research...and now *sob* nothing is left. I've got over a month left and nowhere else to go! All that is left to me is that dratted room number, and I'm apparently milking that anticipation for all it's worth. :earboy2:

That's what I get for planning a vacation so far in advance ;)

branv - you always make me smile when I read your posts. Partly because you have a great way of phrasing things and partly because I can relate to what you are saying.

You are in good company there because I have looked at least twice already today :rotfl2:

Good morning, my Dis friends! :wave2: Hope you are all doing well!

attagirl, Did you have a good time in the ATL? I'm really not that far away, only about 30 minutes! Hope you enjoyed yourself while you were here.

I also hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I'm getting excited about Christmas, even though I didn't think that I would be that into it this year. For some reason I thought the cruise would overshadow the Holiday, but I'm really glad that I'm getting into the spirit!

Hope you all have a wonderful day. :flower: Only 39 more days to go...less for those of you going to the World beforehand!! :cheer2:

Ok .....I am also confessing that I have joined you guys in checking the DLC web site daily, even a couple times each day. OK ! Now I said it!!!!! :earseek: I've even taken to calling my new friends at DCL to get verbal confirmation that NO cabin number has been assigned yet.

Hi all...Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I've been out of commission with a sore throat and the works...

I have to chuckle about our shared compulsive planning obsession (CPO). Here I am using my UG as nightly bedtime reading, making my packing lists, rechecking and rethinking reservations, printing out itineraries and basically acting more excited than my children! Thankfully, here I can see I'm not alone. :rotfl2:

We've reserved adjoining cat 10s so I have room numbers already. But I hope you all get your upgrades, what a nice surprise that would be. Can't recall how soon before the trip the docs come...can't wait!!

Today I was going to reserve the RASUL as a surprise for DH, but the times that are left won't fit our schedule. Bummer. If anyone is interested, there are still several slots open!!

I am just trying to be thorough... not compulsive in my planning... but with all my notes, my visits to this site and Disney's site, etc., I guess all that gives me away!!! I am so excited!

I have scheduled babysitting for my 2-year old for a few hours on the last 3 nights of the cruise... I love the online reservation option! I couldn't quite coordinate in the Rascul couples massage w/ the babysitting, but as this is my first cruise I am sure that I won't miss it. Next time though!

I did schedule the Atlantis tour. Anyone been on that? Our tour is at 1:00, and we have the 6:00 dinner... so I think we have enough time to get the ferry back in time for dinner?

What a nice way to start the New Year.... w/ a Disney Cruise! :cheer2:

I could not have said it any better myself. It's really nice to have the cruise after all the holidays are done and over with and everyone else is back to their normal routine. :cool1:

Isn't it very frustrating when you can't access the Disney Cruise Line reservation page to check on your cabin assignment  ;)

I haven't been able to get on any time that I have checked today. :badpc:
