when my boys were little, they worn clean pants without holes and shirts with collars..no ties or sport coats.

Ha, ha very funny , I know what you mean about holes. I think i am not going to tell my son this so I can get some nice family pictures. Once we go on our first cruise the truth will come out and he won't want to dress up anymore.

Now we have lots of boys and girls in that edge age group. They are going to have so much fun!

It started years ago.. Basically it is a group called the "Champagne Girls", who meet during cruises, dressed in pink, wearing tiaras and pink boas, just for the purpose to have a few drinks and fun meet-ups.

On Hawaii, we did a Champagne tasting and included "stud muffins" or (men)..On the Dream , last year, we meet at Pink's and chatted and wore pink .
It can be whatever any one wants ..

Sorry...my DH tried to cut his finger off in a router on Friday, so I've been taking care of the invalid all weekend.
I cannot wait to board that boat and have a recreational adult beverage in my hand

Thanks...he is getting there. Somehow, he clean sliced the bone and missed the joint and missed every tendon in the end of his finger. He has feeling and good circulation to the whole finger. Stitched up and wound care until healing is complete. He may not be swimming at CC, but in January, we all may not be swimming

I am so ready for this vacation!

I booked the sports simulator the other day for DH and DS's, and spa for me at the same time!! Yahoo!!!! We are doing that when we are in Nassau, staying on the boat. Only a few spots for the simulator for that day left, lots of spa appts though.

Thanks mmsmom...I just picked up Cabana #7. I thought this might be a great solution if my DH is not able to do other things due to his finger (though so far, it seems to be healing great).

I just had a thought that I have seen on some other cruise meet threads-if anyone wants to share the cabana, let me know. I know that you can have six persons at the base price, and add up to four more for a small charge per person. There are only three of us, so there is plenty of room!

So with just a week until we tell our kids about this trip, (we are telling them Christmas Eve) my daughter overheard someone talking about it. We have been trying to make up stories all day to make her think she is wrong but I don't know if she believes us. I just can't believe we booked this cruise almost a year ago and have been keeping it a secret all this time and now this. We are getting so excited its going to be here before we know it. Hope everyone is doing well!!! 38 days;-)

Hi Tricia, I am excited for your family! That is a long time to keep a secret. Let us know how it goes. My son will not be finding out until we pull in the port so I can relate to what you are going through. We have told no one, not even family members. If you see a boy with a dazed expression on his face, you will know it is him.lol. mia
