January 20th, ADR at LTT at 4;15...and FOOTBALL

Need advice...On Jan 20th my plan was to go to AK for Morning and part of the day, then LTT for 4:15 res and watch parade at MK...
Well, The AFC, NFC championships will be on that day and I know my husband will be bummed if either or both of our favorite teams(PATS, REDSKINS) are playing. He says this trip is all about the kids, but I know he wants to see at least one of the games....
Do I cancel the res and make another res at Boatrights(our resort Restaurant), so he'll be able to see some of the game??? This is our first trip, so i need to know...can we skip this restaurant?

Being a dad and taking my son from age 4 to 18, for me it was about the kids. I would just ask dad what he thinks. Sometimes we shock you guys

do MK and give him the choice of bowing out and heading back to watch the game. You can always have fun and catch a bus back later with the kids.

We will be there the same time and I am thinking about going to tea at the GF while hubby watches the game.

Does LTT stand for Liberty Tree Tavern? If so small world we have ADRs for it on the 20th for 4:00.

My personal opinion is give him a guilt free easy out. If he takes it he can always join you all back at MK for Evening Magic hours it does not close till 1:00 am that night.

I have a request to my travel agent to switch my reservation from Sunday to Wednesday. If that does not happen then I will probably keep it.
Our othe ADR's are 1/19 Ohana 7pm,1/21 HDDR 5pm,1/22 Coral Reef 12noon,1/24 Le Cellier 2:25pm.....do you have any of these?...it would be cool to meet someone from the Disboards....

We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside, how about you? My kids are 2 boys and a girl....I am sorry, can't remember if you wrote the ages and genders of your kids?
I was going to do P&P party but since it is our first time, we'd wait til next time.

We are staying at All star movies -this is my son (7) and I's second trip. We are a grand gathering of 13 people. Kids 3 girl, 4 girl, 7 boy, 8 girl, 12 girl... Its everyone in our groups first trip but ours. The Garden grill came highly recommended by a friend with boys.
The P&PP is really for my son~ he loves Capt Jack and can't wait to meet him.
Let me know if you make it to the garden grill on the 23rd. Are you all on the DDP?

Yes we are on th DDP, and I know it is not as good as it used to be, but when it's the first time, you don't know any better.

I still think the DDP is ok! We purchased it...

The way I look at is three of our Buffets meals are~
$27.99 per adult without tax
$12.99 per child without tax

I am paying $48 a day for 2 meals and a snack on the dining plan for my son and I.The buffet meal alone is going to cost roughly $43 with tax. It still saves me money!!! I couldn't feed the two of us lunch at a counter service and a snack for $5. You made a great choice..... Have a great trip!
