Disneyland

The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln: 4/16/2024 through early 2025. Reopens in 2025 on May 16 2025 for Disneyland’s 70th.

Meet Tinker Bell in Pixie Hollow: 9/15/24 to 1/30/25.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe: 1/7/25 to ???.

Haunted Mansion 1/7/25 to 1/17. Holiday Overlay removal. Reopens Saturday 1/18.

it's a Small World Holiday closes on Tuesday 1/21.

Disneyland Monorail closes on 1/6/25 for refurbishment.

Disneyland Railroad closes on 1/13/25 for refurbishment.

Mark Twain Riverboat closes on 1/6/25. Reopens 1/11.

California Adventure

Grizzly River Run: 1/6/25 to 3/13/25. Reopens March 14.

Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind: 1/6/25 to 1/23/25. Reopens 1/24/25.

That's honestly great news for us OG HM people. It going into refurb as soon as the holiday season is over means the sooner it will be back to it's original state! HOORAY!

I hope its up before February...but have a feeling HM opens in February because of the rumored new effects on the ride coming next year.

I think Small World will have an extended refurbishment after the holidays, longer than typical overlay removal. I have seen until Spring, hoping it’s back by early March.

The biggest one is the Hitchhiiking Ghost being updated

We will have to see if its true but with the 70th next year, would not surprise me to update a few rides like Small World, Peter Pan, Star Tours (Tokyo version is getting a new location next year...so I assume so will Disneyland here) along with of course adding the new Walt Show.

My guess is it will reopen by 1/20 when i's a small world goes down. In past years HMH goes down right after the holidays and small world goes down 2 weeks later.

Exactly. ISW will be going down for a major refurb and will open in Spring 2025..probably early March.

My understanding was all the updated effects are done and ready to install/turn on during the changeover

Agreed! It's funny because I LOVE Nightmare Before Christmas as a movie, but I greatly prefer the OG Haunted Mansion. The stretching room, for one, is just plain better in OG than the NBC version.

Yeah, I think they do a great job on Haunted Mansion Holiday and I like the movie well enough, but I'm not enough of a fan that I want it there for as long as it's always there! Plus, the OG is one of the handful of rides not based off existing IP, which makes it an unassailable classic in my eyes. I never tire of it, not ever, and the wait to get it back has been excruciatingly long.

Generally speaking yes you should be safe for reopening by the 2nd week of February.
