Even if you go through AutoSlash and sign up for price drops, keep checking - I just checked Hertz directly and my rate beginning 1/22 dropped $60 and I didn't get a notification.

Exactly! They (Autoslash) will only e-mail you if it the same category of car. I got a small SUV first (which I didn't need but it was the cheapest). I did another search and got a mid sized car for less. I did get a notice that they found a cheaper mid size car, it was only $10, but that is half of a burger at WDW!

same category of car or higher. I've gotten notifications when I had a midsize booked that a minivan was cheaper. I've suggested that they add the ability to add car classes to the tracking just like you can filter out companies in the tracking.
