January 2014! So Far Away!!! First Trip :)

Hello everyone! I don't know if anyone is going to follow along and help me, but I'm going to do my first ever PTR anyway

We have decided that we are going to go on our first trip to WDW next January. Besides that, all we know is who is going

We don't know the exact dates, where we are going to stay, ADR's, NOTHING!

This is my first time planning a trip this big and this exciting So I'm going to need all the help I can get!

So I hope you come along for the adventure I can use all the advice and help I can get

This is Riley. She will be almost 2 when we go to Walt Disney World. This will be her first (of many) trip to WDW. Right now her favorite character is Minnie Mouse!

This is my DH, Mike. He has been to WDW in the past. This will be our first trip together and our first trip as a family. He is very excited about going back.

This is my sister, Victoria. She will be just turning 15 when we go on the trip. She has never been to WDW and can't wait!

This is Mom. She has never been to Disney World as far as I know. But her, my sister and I have been to DisneyLand. She has a hard time walking and some other disabilities so I need to keep all that in mind when planning.

And finally, This is me, Peggy. There aren't many pictures of me because I hate pictures. And this picture is old. It's from 2011 when I was pregnant!

In the past, before I would take my sister away for the weekend, I would make her a binder of what we were going to do. She would get so excited and loved looking through it.

This time, since this is such a HUGE trip, I'm suggesting that she makes a smashbook. I will be making one for Riley and now I think my Mom is going to make herself one also. They are so much fun to make and it's a cool way to keep yourself excited when the trip is so far away.

I figured she could keep track of things she learns during the planning. Make notes on places she wants to go and things she wants to do while we are there. She is interested in doing pin trading so I told her to make sure she keeps the rules and she can start looking for the pins.

Over all, I think it will be a fun way to get us all into Disney mode. Of course I'll be doing all the planning. That's how it always is but I guess in the end I kind of prefer it that way. So as I learn things I will share it with them to "smash" it however they want!

So...with January being so far away (I know it's going to go quick, I just hate waiting), I've just been reading things, looking around in stores for anything Disney, Pinning like CRAZY on Pinterest.

I ordered a Micky Head Punch from Ebay (I want to get the next size up also)

I have tons of card stock paper so I punched out a bunch of MM Heads.

And I saved the pages I cut them from because they are too cute and I figure we can use them for something!

So I'm going to split the MM Heads and the papers up into 3 groups. Then Mom, Victoria and I (for Riley) will have them. And I think they will look great in our smash books!

We were in Michael's today and they actually sell Smashbook kits! I've been making these things since highschool. I didn't have a name for them, but I could have been rich! LOL
