If your name is NOT on this list you have not confirmed participation in the FE. I sent PMs to people that had expressed interest but never provided info. At this point I am assuming you are not participating if you have not posted. So, this is the current list with 12 days left to sign up.

Looks like a good sized group! There are several families with multiple cabins listed but some are friends. Every cabin listed above is participating in FE gifting.


The final list will also be available in a PDF form on a spreadsheet. I can email that to people as well if you send me your email information. The spreadsheet will be organized in numeric order so you can deliver by deck!

just trying to wrap my head around making and packing our FE stuff in addition to the regular packing. I keep having fun ideas but I'm trying to be economical on space so I don't have to stress so much on getting it there (or worry the rest of you on getting it home). I'm planning on probably a gift per cabin, with maybe a couple of little fun things for the kids separately (I would feel bad leaving pockets empty...). This is my first cruise and FE exchage so I've been doing research.

Also,are we going to try to meet up as a group at any point during the cruise? Not sure how to go about organizing that. I love the private mixology idea and would enjoy that (as long as I can get DD2 into nursery).

Deep breathe and relax! I haven't even started yet! Well, I did but I am back to square one.

As for a group gathering. If someone wants to schedule one that is awesome. I am so scattered as we will have lots of family on the boat and will likely be with them. I always end up meeting some people for trivia! We live us some trivia! Hehe

I see you have a 4 yr old daughter. I have a 4 year old son who is quite the lady's man (in a good way) at preschool! He loves little girls. Maybe we can meet and get these two together sometime during the cruise and do the slide, or play during cruise days. I don't think my son is tall enough for the BIG slide yet, but maybe the smaller one! He's only 40 inches, maybe he'll grow by then!!!

I see your cruise is a surprise for you. Our cruise is a surprise for my husband and son for Christmas! So far, I haven't been caught!!!

I agree about the holidays/FE ideas, packing, etc. stress-but what a wonderful stress to have! I love going on vacation and my biggest problem each day is, hmmmm, what are we doing for fun today, and what delicious place are we going to eat at for dinner! These are good stresses!

On our last cruise on the Magic, I got everyone up early to go see The Muppets at 8:00 a.m.! Empty theater and the kids loved their popcorn appetizer before breakfast!

I'm sure Monsters Inc 3D will be showing, but from what I understand, you can call 2 weeks in advance to get the list of movies.

I was on the fence before but have decided to definitely do the FE. Please add my name to the confirmed list. I am travelling solo in room 2025. Name is Nicole.

Also, I had a couple suggestions from previous FE experience. Someone on the DIS had suggested for the bigger ships, to deliver vertically by forward/aft/midship through the decks as opposed to doing an entire deck at once. This is how most people, myself included, always delivered on the smaller ships, doing a whole deck at once- but this tip said that for the Dream and Fantasy, because the decks are so large, it takes way longer to deliver by entire deck whereas going vertically was a lot faster. I tried it with my Mom on the Dream in May and I found the DISers advice to be so true, it was much easier. All I did was print a copy of the ship map and highlight the rooms and then I bagged up my gifts by aft, forward, and midship and it made life so easy.

Another suggestion, whenever I've done an FE I split the groups up into assigned delivery days, which ensured that we had gifts delivered daily throughout the cruise instead of a lot on one day and none on another. This has always worked out great. You can ask if people have a preference for a day or just give them an assignment. Of course people can always switch later if something came up, its not set in stone but if people follow it for the most part it does guarantee that the fun of getting gifts will happen throughout the cruise evenly.

I checked with DCL - we booked a promotional rate and won't have the stateroom assignment until 3-7 days prior to sailing. Should I pull out of the FE?

Just my opinion, but I'm pretty sure most of us can add the stateroom info at the last minute. For me, the most important thing right now is knowing the actual "who", gender, and age (for kids). I am going to make copies of the final list probably the day before we leave (to make sure it is the most up to date) and I will bring it with me of course, so if anyone forgets theirs and needs a copy, you can come to my stateroom 6514 and pick one up. By the time I print, hopefully you will have your room# and anyone that wasn't able to log in the last few days prior to departure can get it from me (I will have email/internet working up until the ship loses Verizon service!)...however, I defer to Jeisur's opinion since she is putting it all together.

Gotcha added to the list. I will provide the list in numeric order by cabin #. It is easy for people to grab a map, circle the room numbers and hit the decks. I have done it both ways. We certainly need the walking with all the food so we go deck by deck around in circles! Anything to exhaust the kids!

I like the idea of getting gifts daily but I think with the group size and a lot of people with their first time traveling we should just stick with deliver when works best for you.

I would suggest that there are no deliveries before 6pm on the first day or after 4pm on the last evening. That allows people to unpack and pack.

Gotcha added to the FE list. I am not organizing the mixology but will try to gather all the people who are interested to get a list going. I just got back in town from a damp week camping at Ft. Wilderness and my washing machine is broken. Just not my day! I have, no kidding, 12 loads of laundry just from camping!

I will also print some lists and tuck them down into the top pocket of my FE and mark any changes. I will check email one last time at 3:30, that should allow long enough for changes. My FE may be hard to get to since we are concierge level... ugh!

quick question. Is kelly a boy or girl? Just want to put the correct gender down in case people gift gender typical gifts!

I know our boys like princesses as well as typical boy characters.
