January 10th, 2014 Cruise on the Magic from Port Canaveral

Who is READY?! It's chilly in south florida tonight but hopefully it will warm up for the weekend.

Our room was finally assigned today. We are in cabin # 7001.

We had 7001 & 7003 on our cruise in November on the magic!

Fe gifts finished! Packing complete, cannot believe it's almost time to set sail!

Almost done sewing the FE and gifts are almost done! So excited, can't sleep!

Almost done packing, we will be leaving very early in the morning ! Excited to get to warmer weather !!

Were so excited! We are leaving tomorrow afternoon to head toward our hotel. Almost finished packing. My 21 year old is so excited she can barely sleep. We were hoping someone could fill us in. Once we are on the ship and we have been given our ID and we are waiting to leave the port, do they allow you to go to your room? I know the bags will not arrive until later, but we wanted to just check out the room.We just wish it would hurry up and get here, and then go really slow. It's gonna be the fastest Vacation!

We usually go the night before, stay at Country Inn and Suites, eat dinner and watch the other ships sail away (if you go to Fishlips or one of the other restaurants near the port a little before 5 you'll watch the Dream sail away!)y, but just driving over Friday morning this time.

Did you like room #7001?

Yes! We didn't have any maintenance issues and it was quiet and the location was great for us. It is near the officers rooms so you'll see them passing back and forth but we likes that. No noise issues.

We usually go the night before, stay at Country Inn and Suites, eat dinner and watch the other ships sail away (if you go to Fishlips or one of the other restaurants near the port a little before 5 you'll watch the Dream sail away!)y, but just driving over Friday morning this time.

We had dinner at fish lips last night. We saw the Dream sail right by. Is everyone going to try and meet in the lounge at 3:30 ?

We had a great time and really enjoyed all of the really fun gifts! Each of them will be forever treasured in the scrapbook of our cruise. Since this was our first Disney cruise, we are considering it the appetizer for the 7-day in the future!
