We were looking into doing Disneyland this year instead WDW and I was shocked to see they dont offer package prices into Jan or Feb 2020.

When do they usually release these as it's just about 6 months away

Go to the Disneyland Official Site here:

https://disneyland.disney.go.com/
Near the top of the page you'll see a "Build Your Vacation" widget that will walk you through putting together a package and giving you a price for it. You start by choosing your dates. Then you pick a hotel, and then a room in the hotel. Then you pick your park tickets with a few options there. You can add your flights if you want, ground transportation, and even other non-Disney attractions. And then you can tweak it accordingly if the price isn't quite what you wanted.

The rates that apply to the dates you choose will be reflected in the price (and this primarily will apply to hotels and flights).

Glad you're going to try Disneyland! I hope you love it!

One thing to keep in mind: Many veterans on this board find that they save a lot of money by booking everything themselves, rather than going through Disney. Booking through Disney certainly is more convenient, but there really aren't enough perks offered for DLR to make the extra cost worth it for everyone. Feel free to ask any questions about booking things yourself if you are interested in this. The savings can be significant. If you prefer packages, but want to save some money -- try Costco. Costco's packages are popular here.

The point I was making was that when you try to book any package on the official Disneyland site Jan & Feb 2020 are greyed out

Hi Everyone! New here. Excited for my trip Jan 18-19. It's the only time we can go while we're in CA and I'm a little worried about how crowds will be that weekend with ROTR opening. My Mom, Sister and almost 4yo DD will be going. Really excited for my baby to experience Disneyland. I can't wait!!

Welcome! Don't worry about the crowds -- with good planning and good research (and you're already here, so you're off to a good start!), you can still have a great time at DLR, no matter what the crowd levels are like. Start with the newbie information in the sticky threads at the top of the first page and ask away with any questions. :)

That's the MLK holiday weekend, the weekend of the NAMM festival and Rise is opening. So, it will likely be very crowded but just prepare for it and you'll be fine.
