What a night.....
I went to bed at 3:10 am and up at 8am

GiddyRhino, I apparently jinxed it. We got some snow last night and it's supposed to get icey this morning. The kids around here don't have snow...and while it's not Canadian snow....people act like they have never seen snow before! Ugghh! I don't think it is too bad though and the city should be cleaned up. Enjoy your trip!

Oh, I didn't see any snow in NYC, the weather was really nice (well, compared to the frozen tundra that is Montreal!) and I'm so happy with the hotel I got on Priceline (Holiday Inn Wall Street for $80! ), the staff was really nice and got to roll around my king bed all night!

Also, I went to a marvelous Southern restaurant with a Northern flair, The Redhead, where I had a fabulous kale salad with aged jack cheese, roasted pecans and crisp apple, then for entree a yummy braised rabbit stuffed with escarole with spaetzle and an OH-MY-GOD dessert: Sticky Toffee Pudding with Buttermilk ice cream, and it deserved all the capitalisation! T'was sooooo good!

Also, the train part went over very smoothly, my cabin was quite comfy and I had a very funny attendant to joke with... It gave me some "me time" to read, relax, reshuffle my luggages 17 times...

I just wanted to be the first to say what a pleasure it was to meet some of you and there were many others who I thought I recognized but was too embarrassed to go up to!

- THANK YOU ALL so much for the wonderful FE gifts! There were so many special ones I can't even write them all down right now, but we appreciate and will use all of them!! Everyone went all out for this and it made the trip so very special and fun. Most especially, a very heartfelt thanks to everyone who did candy, for finding safe candy for Aidan. He got more stuff he could eat than Halloween and loved it! I didn't see one thing that wasn't safe. You all are the best!!

Even though the weather SUCKED!! We still had a great vacation and it was wonderful to meet alot of nice people too. Thank you all for the great FE gifts. Another great first experience for our family and we really enjoyed taking part in it. A great big thank you to Kelli once again for organizing it.
Back to reality and hopefully we will get a chance to experience the magic again in the near future.
Hopefully some will get a chance to write some report and share photos. Now I'm wondering how we can share some photos on our facebook? We may have to do that through the group page??

Hey everyone!
So great meeting everybody! Wish we had more time to actually SPEND. LOL I barely saw anyone all week. I had NO clue how BUSY we would actually be on this cruise, but me and my family loved every minute of it and can't wait to plan another trip. My girls stopped at the threshold of the magic yesterday and just were heartbroken to walk off the ship!

Thanks for all the help and tips and planning... I am so grateful, as it really made a difference in our experience!

AND thanks for all the wonderful magnets... the girls LOVED seeing the new ones pop up on the door every day!

We had an awesome time on our cruise! We were so sad to leave 70 degrees yesterday to come home to 30's and snow. Can't wait to plan another trip! Thanks to all for the FE gifts and magnets. You've given me lots of great ideas for our next cruise. Although I didn't get to meet all of you, I did see a lot of you around the ship. Did anyone rebook on board? My husband decided we'd be better off waiting for another "kids sail free" deal, so hopefully they'll offer another one for next year! We got lucky and the kids only missed one day of school because of the snow we had while we were gone. (They were scheduled off last Monday and Tuesday and the rest of the week was snow days.) With all this crazy weather this year, I'm not looking forward to my husband leaving for Phoenix in a few weeks. He'd better give me a lesson on how to use the snow blower!

I filled out a form to rebook on the 5 day double dip on April 10/12 on the Dream. I did not hear from anyone and so I called and asked and they said they would contact me about prices. I would still receive the 10% off and OBC if I decide to book it. This way it gives me time to think about it a little more. I would like to wait and see if they offer better deals such as the KSF but I'm thinking that wont apply to the new ships...just the Magic and the Wonder which the intineraries I'm not crazy about. Anyway, we will see what happens. Anyone else book anything?

Yeah, right! Like I would rebook without trying to talk you into coming with us. No WAY!! (Plus, we were together practically the entire time, so I think you would have noticed if I had trotted off the the future cruise desk! )

I am checking 2012 rates, though, and am planning another cruise already. I need one more Magic Western Caribbean before that route is taken over by the Fantasy. Come with!
