Hey everyone! I've been so busy with work and moving from Cali that I forgot to update here! I (Steve) will be on board with Ashley we're in 6548 and it's Ashley's first Disney cruise! We are also celebrating our engagement and the completion of my MBA.

So now that I've updated my introduction, are there many that plan to be hanging out in the lounges after hours? I find I'm sometimes the only one left in wave bands (it's been 3 years) and if there's someone from dis boards it's always nice to at least be able to say hi or chat.

I'm excited to be cruising with you guys and will be catching up on posts tonight!

Hi Steve, we may be hanging out in the lounges in the evenings...but not in the loud one! There is a meet and greet with photos planned after we board and before the safety drill....there's a post on here somewhere about it...

I love the Rum cakes! Where did you find the make-up?

I'm not sure I can exactly tell you. It was 2009. Just as you walk into town it was on the right. Lots of glass and marble or something classy... air conditioned, too. It looked like a makeup dept from a department store and they had a jewelry department also. It had that clean look of a duty free shop, but as they didn't deliver the items to the ship, I guess they can't be Duty Free??

I alway go to the DCL Shopping Tips talk. I find it fun and they share specials and the stores DCL stands behind. This can be important if you're planning to shop in Cozumel.... when the street vendors will assure you it's "almost real gold" and the next says their "gold" chains are "almost free"

I'll add you to the cruiser's list on the first post. What are your names and where do you hale from? Are you having any special celebrations? Have you sailed with Disney before?

We should be able to sneak you in on the Goofy FE gift exchange, if you sign up Saturday. The draft list is out to the members for review, and I need to make the updates and send out the final version this weekend. Please let me know if you want to sign up for some fun!

We have a Meet & Greet for everyone the day we sale. The tweens / young teens have planned to do a meet up as well, but I don't think they've settled on a time / location. They're planning it on the KIDS ONLY thread your DD13 might enjoy getting on there and meeting my DD13 Sabrina and the others

Maybe the College Cruisers could connect here and set something up. The college age cruisers that I see are:

I tend to be up late and wandering the ship. So perhaps I will catch y'all in a lounge.

PS- Thursday Night (our 2nd sea day) is NFL Kickoff. and while I'm not a fan of either the Packers or Seahawks...I will still be having a and watching the game (in O'Gills or Funnel Vision wherever they air it) should anyone care to join me!

This is our first cruise ever and our experience with a fish extender exchange but we are super excited and want to come up with some great gifts!
