I'm interested in the FE gift thing too and would love to be added. My kids would prob love it. My only concern too is that there will be lots of people and I wouldn't know what to buy....first time cruiser problems :) ! If you will be closing out the first list, then please add us.

Updated cruiser info: Estrella Family
Me: Cesi
Husband: Luis
Son (12 yrs- time of cruise): Jayden
Son (3 1/2- time of cruise): Mason
Grandpa: Andy

My sis and family will not be joining us.

When they say luggage do you think they just mean suitcases rather than the contents?
If I were to send a parcel of formal wear and costumes do you think they would count that as luggage and return it or would they accept it?
I think it's a great idea. Thank you

My opinion is "luggage" is something with handles, but I'd do recommend you contact DCL to clarify. You may want to tuck your FE gifts in there too... unless they are food, liquor or diapers. :rotfl2:

I don't know your travel plans on the day we disembark. You might consider if you want to ship those items (or others) back home. There is a FedEx/Kinkos between the ship and WDW we've used before. Another option might be to pack a full suitcase within a slightly larger suitcase for your trip to WDW. That way you have an extra bag for the return trip home. Of course you could treat yourself to some Disney luggage at WDW or onboard.

pirate: One note on pirate costumes... check the rules on knives, swords and guns... they are a no-no. The prohibited list says no "Realistic replicas of firearms and weapons" plus they could be hard to pack. DCL generally has pirate "weapons" available in the gift shop if you need to accessorize.

Great... welcome to the FE. I'll add you to the list on the first post and on the master list that I will distribute after we close the FE...and again when we get cabin upgrades :yay:

Maybe Jayden can help you pick out the tween gifts. Sabrina helps me. Has Jayden connected with the other kids on the KIDS ONLY thread yet?

Opps- Just realized I never gave our stateroom info for the FE group!

We will be in #6648...

Also- My name is Amira

You can find instructions to make an FE here on the DIS. If you'd like to buy an FE, check out Etsy or eBay

Do you know which family will be in which cabin? Some FE folks like to organize and pre-package their gifts by cabin #.

I've never been quite that organized. I work it more like Santa :santa: when I get to a door I check my list... ahh Cabin 2014 - DH Bill, DW Sue and DS2 Mikey. Then I reach into my bags for a lady's gift for Sue, a man's gift for Bill and the baggie with the gifts for the toddler boys for just right thing for little Mikey. So far I've come out OK :-)

Thank you again. I don't know who is in which one.

Another idea for your secret trip. If you're doing store-bought pirate costumes, maybe you can order your costumes online and have them sent directly to the ship - no international shipping costs.

Oriental Trading is one source that comes to mind... here's the link directly to Pirate Costumes pirate:

Depending what you have in mind for formal night and formal night photos, you might consider a Princess costume for Ffion. Sabrina loved being surprised with costumes when it was time to go to dinner. She actually wore different costumes a few nights. It was also fun to match when being photographed with her favorite princesses or character ::MinnieMo

Oriental Trading frequently offers FREE shipping and sometime a discount on top of that. Here's a link to a websitwe where you can get find the latest coupon codes. Retail Me Not - Oriental Trading. I just spotted Free Shipping plus $10 OFF with a minimum purchase. I'm sure they'll ahve multiple deals closer to our cruise date.

If I remember correctly, they provide online tracking for the shipment, so you can me assured the package is actually at the port. I wonder how far in advance DCL is happy to accept packages :confused3

How far ahead was answered as... "not too far ahead" :confused3

They did provide a contact phone number for the shipping location.

Still no answer on any size/shape limits!

What a luck young man. I've added Cody to the Crusiers List and FE List.

My in-laws go to Jamaica every year. They told me its a great experience if you are up for it. But it is slippery.

From what I read you need to bring water shoes or they rent them at the Falls. From the looks of the photos, you also get to hold hands with new friends :rotfl2:

Hi everyone!! We will be in cabin 12522. Me (Haidee), my husband (Jose), Adrian (16), Joseph (12), and my daughter Ava (5). Super excited and can't wait for this cruise!! This is our first Disney cruise too! Any info regarding how to get to the port would really help. Disney charges $75 pp and that's too much money:(

How do we get added to the fish extended? Also, what exactly is the fish extender and what do we have to do or bring
