Question about the concierge Sunrise Safari.

Has anyone do it recently with the breakfast location change? How is the food? And about what time do you get there? We are hoping to grab something and go.

...the breakfast buffet is actually AFTER the safari part of the excursion - it is set up in the 'schoolhouse' room at Tusker's....however, I believe that there are going to be changes made there - I think they are adding a character breakfast here, but I'm not quite sure....

....the SS is quite early - you enter the park before 7:30AM....also, you enter through the CM entrance - it's really quite cool.....

But the Tusker House is closed for a remodel now and the breakfast place has been changed to the pizza place in discovery island I believe. Thank you for your information but that is what I'm asking about.

...in order for folks to still register for the SS, I'm sure that they probably will still offer a buffet breakfast, rather than a quick bite to eat, even if it is in a different location....I'll have to check my 'sources' on that one....

Thank you!! And yep, in full "nesting" mode! Laundry, cleaning the floors, organizing, dusting, all that...! Making sure all the little details are taken care of before little Mister arrives.

....well, it's starting to heat up here again, after 4 long awful CHILLY rain-filled days, so it probably is uncomfortable for YOU - I can't believe that your little one is almost here!! ...I remember when you were excited about going to AKL and asking so many questions here on the AKL thread - now look, one year later and your family will now be THREE!

I KNOW IT! Totally unreal...it's been quite a year!

The weather was chilly here too-I LOVED it. lol It's warmer today, but still beautiful. At least NYC area isn't having the crazy rain and 100 degree weather again. I still can't believe there was a tornado in Brooklyn!

I am recovering good from a cancer operation and my mother just died last week. So i have not been around much until now.

But just received my ABD backpack and travel information for my trip to Italy.

Great review! I cant wait to go back some day to Akl. I loved the savanah view. Mara is good but i sort of agree with you. It can get rather hot around that area and the food choices at times were what you said. Although i enjoyed them.

UPDATE:
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas Construction -
Now thru 4/30/09 - Guests will see and hear ongoing construction during this time. All building activity will take place during the daytime.

In my camera! I will try to post some later. I've never had good luck, they always turn to red "x's".

How come noone told me we could see FIREWORKS from our balcony?!?! I was TOTALLY suprised! The critters were funny, they were laying on the ground watching them! Where were they from? I'm guessing MGM, or maybe Epcot?

Keep a positive attitude and make sure you take care of yourself!! Enjoying your ABD trip should be your first prescription.
