Is the construction effecting the animals from wondering around on the Savannah's?

I decided to pay extra for this view but, I want to make sure that I'm going to be able to see them sometime during the 8 days I'm there.

I'm sure it will be fine! When construction first began, the CMs who work with the animals did make some modifications (there are some species who would have been "spooked" by the construction), but there were always animals on each savanna and they don't seem affected at all!

I'll be there in a week so I'll check out the savannas (who's where!) and post when I return home.

Are you staying on points or did you book through CRO? Staying on points you'll have to pay for mousekeeping "if" you want it more than what's included with your reservation (towel service every 4 days; full cleaning every 7 or 8 days - I'd have to look that up!) If you booked with CRO (Disney Travel), you'll get mousekeeping daily - just like the resort rooms get. HTH's!

With AKV as with the other DVC resorts, as part of your reservation, you will get trash & towel service on the 4th day. If your stay is greater than 8 days, then you will get a full cleaning on the 4th day and trash & towel service on the 8th day. For longer trips, the pattern continues.

You can also add additional trash & towel and/or full cleaning days for an additional fee.
