Was there alot of construction noise while you were there?

No, not really any to speak of.

We were on Zebra trail, far away from the construction currently taking place at the new building (on the "Kudo trail" side of the resort, across the sunset savannah).

There were two instances where, in the dead quiet of the morning, sitting out on my balcony, I could VERY faintly hear the backup "tweets" of a truck. And when I say "faintly", I mean I had to strain to hear it.

If you were over, closer to the construction site/side, I'd imagine you might hear more. But, to that end, we were on the Sunset overlook taking pics of the construction....and couldn't actually HEAR anything going on over there. So maybe not.

.... OMG, it looks soooo nekkid without the tree....

Yeah, we were hoping the tree would still be up when we got there. Apparently, it came down the NIGHT before we arrived. The only xmas decorations around were the tree (you can see it in the last set of pics I posted) at the entrance to Zawadi.

Oh well...we'll get to see 'em all in December when we take our trip....WDW in all it's X-mas glory.

Thanks - My husband (who goes along for the ride, but really doesn't "get it") has my 4 year old brainwashed now - "Mommy, I want to go back when I'm 10" Uh - don't think so. That's a little too long.
I'm liking the way "Food and Wine in '09" sounds... although it's pretty far away. SIGH...
