Hey Lisa!!!! How is the "new" puppy, big I bet!!! Darn it girl, we will be there from Jan. 28th till the 2nd of Feb. for my b-day again!!!! We will just miss you. It's almost the exact dates as last year! I do know that we will not go back this Sept. though, it was too crowded for me!!! LOL

Actually, my DS got married already!!! He actually joined the AF and just finished training, so they wanted to get married before he left. Thanks for asking ~ I'm officially a maw in law now!!! LOL

Anyway, so are your mom and sister making this trip? OH, I've got so much to do!!! LOL You know deciding where to eat for a week is so exhausting.......... :rotfl2:

Congrats on being a Maw in law!!! Where will your DS be stationed while in the AF? I know he has been in TX while in training but what's next?

Also I love the Minnie sweaters your DD and her friend have...wish they came in adult sizes!!!

Actually they did come in Ladies sizes. I bought them at the Disney Store in Square One at our DIS meet. (Scratch was with me!) Noel's is a Ladies small, and megan's was a medium. They had large & extra large too + kids sizes.

That is why we are thinking of the WL. The closeness to MK is what I like!!! We've seen the light parade before, it is really great!!! Someone said the pool will be closed??? Will we be able to use another pool if we wanted too swim?? Oh, yes, the ceiling fan would be in the rooms!!! ;) I always sleep with one, and just prefer to have it!

Congratulations to your son and his wife:goodvibes Best Wishes to both of them! And Congrats to you on the MIL status:)

Next trip with mom and sister is probably 2008 :sad1:

Where are you thinking about eating this time...certainly you must stop at the lodge for some Domes!

Great picture! Any welcome back to the boards...how is the puppy?

I tried to convince DFi to stay WL for our Disneymoon but he won't have it and only want AKL. We fell in love with it also the first time for the same reasons...but we are thinking of trying Concierge so we will have to request Don if we do!

Thanks for the welcome back :thumbsup2 The puppy does not look like a puppy anymore...he is a terror on 4 legs at the moment. He is chewing anything and everything he can get in his mouth:crazy2: I can't believe some of the things I have pulled out of his mouth:crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2:

I think you and your DFi should go all out and try concierge for the trip...you only do the 1st honeymoon once so why not go all out!!!

Doh! :headache: Most all of the disney stores have closed around here. The closest store is at the Mall of America, which is on the complete opposite side of town from me and I don't go there too often because most of the stores there I can see at most of the malls here. Guess I will have to check out E-Bay for them.

Thanks Kimmar for that list of refurbs. I had actually seen that last night! I think we have pretty much just decided on the lodge.......... waiting till noon for DH and then I'm going to make final arrangements!!!!

Thanks!!! We are just going to the same old places that we really enjoyed last time, Le Cellier, Kona, Coral Reef......... of course CM for DS and not sure yet about the others. We are going to finalize plans this afternoon, then we'll make the decisions. I've got to buy my Pirate & Princess Party tickets!!! ARRRGGGpirate:

Well, I really have to stick up for WL. As far as restaurants go, I think Artist Point is a great restaurant, with a great wine list. It's so underrated. If one doesn't stay at WL, it's worth a trip to eat there. Salmon and buffalo, to die for! A bottle of 2002 Kiona Red Mountain Reserve Cab, life is good!

Might be a stupid question, but am I right to expect that pool towels are provided at the pool? :beach: If so, where are they to be found and will they be available any time, i.e. also for a late night visit to the spa? Thanks! :yay:

I haven't tried many restaurants at WDW, but we LOVED Artists Point-it was hands down our favorite. I still drool for the Coffee Two Ways dessert....

We only tried Boma at AKL though, gotta try Jiko next time!

Yep, the pool towels are provided at the pool. They are in a structure right next to the pool entrance-it just has an open hole/window on one side and the towels are stacked inside. I saw the same thing at the WL pool, so I'm assuming this is a pretty normal thing around the restorts in case you've seen one before.

We went down to the spa after 10:00 pm and the towels were still available. I think the spas "close" at 11:00-but I know we were in past that time one night and no one said anything to us.

In abundance! Two places, right when you walk down the steps...main entrance to the pool (to your right facing pool) and again behind the kiddie pool. I believe they are available always.

I totally agree with you on Artist Point. It is a must do for me on each trip.

Yum I just can't get enough of Kona Cafe. It is truly a hidden gem at WDW. I have to buy my tickets as well for Pirate and Princess Party:thumbsup2

OH, I LOVE Kona!!!! It was beyond terrific last time, in fact we altered plans to eat there a second time that trip!! I'm making my ADR's tomorrow and Kona is on the list!!
Oh Lisa, I just bought my Pirate & Princess Party tickets. Whoo Hoo!!!! Now, what did I do with my crown????? princess: :rotfl:

Kona is the one with the amazing breakfast coffee bar, right? I HAVE TO try that next trip, I am a coffee freakkkkkk!
