They originally were not going to start Jambo until the fall. My guess is that when they saw they were running ahead of schedule they pulled availability, but it was past the 11 month mark so they couldn’t pull enough to start a large section early.
Quicker than they thought. They finished up end of May. They started the second half around mid January. They did half at a time. So 4 1/2 months for each half. There were a lot more rooms to do at Kidani as the whole resort was done. Jambo just has the 5th floor and the few concierge rooms on the 6th. They don’t have the value rooms shut down until November and then opening back up around the end of January, though. Don’t remember if they shut down concierge all at once or not. It was just that the blackout of availability for all value rooms told us at least one of the sections’ timeline.
