Jambo or Kidani???

We already stayed at Kidani and love it!! But.....we want to save some points next year and are thinking about getting a studio concierge. We are just torn between the two and it's hard to decide!!!
We get spoiled with the 1 BR since we have 2 kids (4 and 6) but it will be nice to have concierge and have the food available all day. I need your thoughts and opinions. I never thought it would be so hard to decide!!!

I may not be able to give you the best answer, since we have yet to stay in a 1-bedroom, but I can tell you that we loved our AKL concierge studio! We have two children, somewhat older than yours, and are used to staying in a regular hotel room (we're new DVC members) -- so we didn't miss the extra space. However, we really enjoyed the concierge perks... the pre-arrival concierge services, the lounge offerings and, best of all, the Sunrise Safari. That was so amazing that we will definitely stay AKL concierge again just to do the safari! It was great having breakfast in the lounge and stopping by for late-night treats.

We're staying in a 1-bedroon at Kidani this fall, so then we can decide which experience we enjoy more. We don't have the points to do a 1-bedroom concierge, so we'll have to choose one or the other. I have a hunch we'll be enjoying both options in trips to come.

So yes... I vote to give concierge a try!

Extremely tough choice! I had a Concierge studio last year and loved it! I am staying at Kidani in a 1 BR in December. For '10, I will probably have a 1 BR at Kidani because I am taking my nephew and I can stay 1 extra day in Kidani versus a 1 BR concierge studio. However, I loved CL so much, I am trying to figure out when I can go back to CL again.

I stayed in a Kidani 1br last week. It was wonderful to have so much space. And the second bathroom was so nice to have. I ended up really liking the parking garage and being first on the bus routes.

I have a Jambo 1br value reserved for October. I did that prior to staying at Kidani and just solely to save some points (the 182 spent for a savanah view last week was alot IMHO). I've really been debating whether to waitlist for Kidani though. It would be about 10-15 points more, I think. I'm just concerend about how different Jambo will be for all the factors I stated above. I might have been spoiled by Kidani Village!

I made ressies today and got a concierge studio from April 30 - May 7th for only 140 points...not too bad!! We love
Kidani but we know we have the best of both worlds. It's a quick bus ride or walk to Kidani so we will be using the pool there as well. Can't wait!!
