Jambo GV “beat up?”

Just watched a YouTube video by Here with the Ears of the Jambo GV. Someone in the comments said it looked best up. This is a recent video and it looked fine to me. Anyone been there fairly recently that can comment. I’m looking to book it for a birthday party. It’s a great space for entertaining, but I’ll look elsewhere if it is dated and beaten up.

Stayed there in December. We had the HA one which is by the pool and the stupid flamingos (noisy and stinky). It was a tad tired, yes. But nothing overly disgusting. Try to request another location though....not that HA one. Poor savannah view and HA parts of the room were kinda ugly.

Oh yeah. I can't wait to stay in renovated SSR room. We had it booked for end of May and then bumped to June but cancelled that too. Was so looking forward to it. They should be done with all of preferred section before too long. I read they just filed permit to start construction back up. Think they were pretty done with Congress Park and into the Springs. Enjoy!

I don't know if this will make a difference in your planning but the GV's at SSR are two story and have a very small balcony.

I don't know if this will make a difference in your planning but the GV's at SSR are two story and have a very small balcony.

The small balconies at SSR are a mystery to me. Why did they not make them bigger. If you have a dedicated 2 bedroom you get one balcony, the size that a studio has. It seats 2, but the room can have 9 people. The GV balcony looks bigger than the studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom balconies, but it is not big.
