Yep. $15 for the first bag checked per person. We were allotted that money in our misc category on our expense check.

So it $15 for ANY checked baggage and than $25.00 for any others?? So you do not get ONE bagged checked without being charged? Also do you pay another $15 a bag on your return flight?

I can't wait until you two ladies come back from your trips to hear all about it.

If there are 4 of you going on the trip and you each have one suitcase to check in it will cost you 4x$15 ($60 total). If any of you has more than one suitcase it will cost you $25 each per second suitcase.
You have to pay the 4x$15 ($60)on the way back too.
So if you all had one case each to check in it would cost $120 for the whole trip.

Our baggage will cost 3 suitcases there and 3 back. MAW have allowed 3x$15 there and 3x$15 back, a total of $90.

We did tell MAW the other day that we may try to fit everything in only 2 cases on the way down and bring 3 cases back(one filled with souvenirs), they said the $15 has been allowed and it is up to us whether we choose to use it or not.

OMG are you kidding...WOW...do they add this into your expense check or is this something that comes out of your pocket?

I can see the cost for a second or third suitecase, but to check even just one...that just seems crazy..

It should. Like I said, ours is under misc expense.. which the line reads.. special dinner or treat. I asked which category the luggage comes out of and it was the same one.. so that will be our special treat.. lol, getting to take our luggage.

And thats it, no itemizing in the main bulk of the family expenses, was just told it was for paying for Lunches, other Misc things and some treats.

Thank for. Jake actually goes back in the hospital on Feb 2nd for the week for some testing and he is far from happy about this, but we are bringing all our Disney books, so hopefully his upcoming trip will make the stay some what bearable.

I posted this on the Wish Trippers thread, but I also wanted to share this on Jakes' thread. First off I wanted to say THANK YOU for making Jake part of the Big Give...( which by the way, I am still in shock and once again very greatful, I never expected it at all...so again THANK YOU.. ) and I also wanted to share with you all an organaztion called, The Little Heros Project on Jake's Pre trip

I was given this website by the Child life at the hospital and to be honest I totally forgot all about, kind of wrapped up in the whole MAW trip, and than I read on someone else CB site that they had their session done, and I went back to the website and looked thru. My first thought was I would love to get this done while we are on Jake's Disney trip, how awesome would that be. I contacted them to see if they would even do it, and they said YES. So I looked thru the list of photographers in the orlando area and I found one that I LOVED. And she contacted me and said she had never done a MAW trip before but is honored to do it.... Again just shocked and greatful that someone is willing to make his trip even more magical. The best part is that when she was 15 she said she use to volunteer at GKTW..so she is pretty excitied to do this. I DO encourage everyone that is planning to trip to Disney to check this site out, if you want to have it on your wish trip, otherwise you can have it done in your home area if you like, but all of the photo sessions are free, and all these photographers are so honored to do this.

Just found your pre trip report, Jake is so cute. I love the video of him getting the disney on ice tickets. He is going to have such a wonderful time in Disney World, can't wait to here all about it.
