It seems that Jake isnt very well at the moment. Christine has had to take him into ER with a fever that keeps on climbing. Please pray that he gets out soon.

"It has been a rough couple of hours. By the time we got into our room Jakes temp shoot up to 104. He had the shakes, was freezing, and still vomiting. The wanted to put him on a cooling blanket, but where he was already so cold, it would have been torture for him. So they gave him more meds to bring the fever down. After an hour it finally went down to 102. The did more blood wok and an ekg. Jake is finally sleeping now. I will know either late tonight or first thing in the am if anything is growing in the line or if this is viral. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. Also please keep Caleb in your thoughts and prayers tonight as well. Christine"

Caleb is also a little boy that Jake met when he was at GKTW. Caleb is not doing well at all. Christine is asking everyone to pray for Caleb, his Mom and his 2 brothers and sister (Caleb's father passed away some time ago.)

I read Jakes site everyday but since Christine mentioned Calebs blog about 4 days ago I have read it all and cried tears for what that family has been through in only 8 months. That poor little boy

Yes, Dennis treated us really well....we had a wonderful time...so nice to see another fellow Red Sox Fan..

Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers....Jake is still in the hospital, he got really sick on Sat with a line infection. We are still growing positive cultures, so we are not sure if he is going to need the line removed or not.

Otherwise he is in good spirits, showing all the nurses and drs his computer picture frame with all 500 Disney photos...sitting right on the desk across from his bed.

Going thru all those pictures today reminded me to come by here and say hello to you all...and to come here and see that some of you have been following his site is truly wonderful, thank you so much...

Thanks for the update! Sending prayers and pixie dust for Jake's speedy recovery. I love that he has his photos at the hospital!

I just came on to see more of your pictures and they are amazing. I'm so sorry Jake's in the hospital, I hope he gets better real soon!!

Hannah is so pretty, she was smiling and posing in almost all of the pics. She looks like a happy little girl.
I love the picture of Jake and Hannah on Dumbo together, and the one where they are both leaning in on Pluto's face, and the one of Jake with spiderman.
I'm so glad you guys got to have a very special time!

I just found the link this morning on your pre-trip report to jump to the trip report. I hope that Jake is doing better. I am glad tht he can look at all of his pictures while in the hospital. He is such a special little guy!

I cried through the entire report and then cried some more while looking at your photos. I think it is awesome that Disney made him an honorary bell hop. I also love him sleeping with his Goofy dressed as a bell hop. My son has a Stitch dressed that way. He loves Stitch.

I think that is amazing that your greeter also worked at IA and was able to have Jake meet all of the Superheros as once. That is a picture of a lifetime.

I am sure that I have left off so many other thoughts, but thank you for sharing your experience with us!
