We bought a BW resale with points expiring 8/31/04 and Jaki went out of her way to close the deal.

Can you believe 3 weeks signing the deal to making reservations! Also, Nancy Spohn at Timeshare Title and More really helped out as well. I believe they hand delivered the contract to Disney to speed things up. I was nervous as I thought this would take till the end of July.

That's great - especially if you will be able to use the points before they expire! I would imagine availability is limited. So (if you don't mind the question) were you able to work something out??

Yes we have rented some August points and have a 1BR at VWL for a week in August that we will either use or rent. By the way, I was able to get a boardwalk view studio for someone for the end of August. I was surprised.

DVCMary, I was going to send you a link to Jaki, but your PM's are disabled. She works for a resaler, but not the board sponsor so I hesitate to post the link here.

I know that we have a sponsor for this web site, but this sponsor has been around for a long time yet we used to post links to other timeshare resale sites. I am just curious why people have really stopped doing that. It helped me immensely in buying my 2 resales. We all know the link to the sponsor's site, but this is an independent board and I think we should be able to speak up. It's not like we are trying to slam the sponsor - just giving other options. Frankly, the sponsor has by far the best inventory at any given time, and we have bought from them and found them to be fantastic, but sometimes they don't have what you're looking for.

After all, the Swan and Dolphin is a sponsor for this board as well, but most of us spend alot of time talking about Disney resorts, and there are a ton of un-flattering reviews (as well as good ones) regarding the Swan and Dolphin.

I have a friend who just returned from Disney and she did the DVC Tour she just didn't like SSR she would rather have the hotel type of resort where there is inside hallways. dvcresales.com (we bought from ******** before - GREAT service...she used to work at The Timeshare Store)

disney-vacation-club-resales.com (Lee Reid - we bought from him as well, but the deal fell through due to a problem on the seller's end and no fault of Lee's).
