I can vouch for the beignets, I've had a couple in my lifetime living in NOLA!

But I have to ask, what is with the mutant shrimp at the Prime Time? They look enormous!!! Or was it just the camera angle???

Giant shrimp!!! - it's true!!! Wait until you see the fish I got at Rose 'n Crown!!!

Bright and early, we drive over to the Poly for breakfast at the Kona Café. This is a staple for all our trips – we MUST get Rhonda a Tonga Toast.

Rhonda gets hers with a side of fruit.

Judi goes for hers with ham.

As usual, I go for the pineapple-macadamia nut pancakes. These are SOOOOO delicious!!!

Meg is a delight at this restaurant – she gets the Goofy Toast off the children’s menu!

And Brooke got the Mickey Mouse pancake – this is a picture after he lost his fruit face!

We've always liked Earl of Sandwich, but this meatball sub was nothing compared to the one at the POFQ food court...

Has anyone else felt that the food here has been better in the past???

If it was something you wanted to try, I would say try it anyway... there are so many people who hate Nine Dragons, and we love it... I like to know about other people's experiences, but I tend to also want to see for myself first... and our first few trips to Earl of Sandwich were wonderful, so maybe it was just a bad night this last time??? We're going back next trip, so it couldn't have been horrible!

I've probably never mentioned the fact that I'm a little disturbed that I can spell "Ghirardelli's"...

But Rhonda refuses to let us go to Downtown Disney (and it's not like we fight her on it anyway) without a trip for ice cream!

Meg got a chocolate chip espresso cone -

Mine was supposed to be a dark chocolate/raspberry sundae, but I asked for hot fudge instead of dark chocolate -

Blurry Brooke got a scoop of chocolate, I think those are sprinkles???

Judi got what looks like chocolate chip ice cream with hot fudge -

Ron is a purist - chocolate shake -

And, even though it's no longer called a "Strike It Rich" sundae, that's what Rhonda got - it's vanilla ice cream with hot fudge on top of butter pecan ice cream and butterscotch.

I just love her little eye roll!

2 of these are not food pictures - but I can't believe how long it took me to figure out WHY this food court is called "FLOATWORKS"!!!

Now these are the famous beignets - it WAS an order of 6, but I can only hold off so long before the camera is remembered!

We were on the dining plan -

an order of 3 beignets was considered a snack credit or a dessert credit with lunch or dinner.

an order of 6 beignets was considered a snack credit or a breakfast entree.

Very versitile!!! (sure, I can spell Ghirardelli's and beignets... but not versitile... versatile?)

Keep it coming, I'm dyeing to know how you liked Rose & Crown in Epcot. We have dinner ADR's in March!!!! Love the pictures, we have stayed at POR x2 now and have never tried the biegnets. This March I plan on trying them for sure thanks do to your pictures..
