Jackies & Co - There is no where like WDW - Pre Trip Report

With only 6o days to go until I am sitting on that big bird in the sky I thought I would give you all a treat with my Pre Trip report


This is our 14th trip to WDW but my first as a fully fledged member of the DIS



- This is another first as I have never put my photo up before so brace yourselves

Jackie (37) - Chief Planner - Love all things Disney and have a passion for spending $$$$

Brian (40) - Works hard to pay for my passion and lives for his holidays although has to take his laptop and Blackberry with him just in case

Molly (8) Loves Disney but not any rides that go above 3 mph - Loves the water parks

Lewis (6) Total whirlwind - Now tall enough to go on all the rides - we will wait and see

John and Toni - my mum and dad - very well behaved,do as they are told and are great babysitters

This is us

The Holiday

This will be our first trip since 2006 - shocking I know!! We decided to give ourselves a year off - didn't go down well but I am very excited about this trip

We are flying from Inverness to Gatwick on 6th July staying overnight at an undecided hotel (I want Sofitel and Brian wants Travel Inn as he thinks it is a waste of money- we will see )

Fly with BA on 7th for 21 nights staying in a 5 bedroom villa with pool near Champions Gate - We love the freedom and privacy a villa gives us - we all get our own room with one spare in case of bud induced snoring episodes(Brian not me!!)

Our Plans

Having been many times before I dont have a rigid plan to stick to but have planned a few things

Our first day is always spent by the pool in the morning then at DTD. We haire a boat , have an Earl of Sandwich and I start as I mean to go on with shopping .We have bought our 21 day Disney Tickets and will visit IOA and US as well as Aqutica

ADRS We are going to Chef Mickeys for dinner,La Cellier for dinner,Sci Fi Diner for lunch and Crystal palace for lunch.

Segway Tour Brian has just turned 40 so I booked him and my dad the Segway tour which he is very excited about.

Grown Up Time I am very excited that my best friend and her family are going to be there for part of our holiday so we have arranged the babysitters and Brian and i are taking them to The Adventurers Club and hopefully if we can fit it in a trip round World Showcase for a tipple or two

ShoppingI will visit every mall in the hope of finding a bargain. Brian and the kids love Quiksilver etc so many a t shirt will be bought.

I am a bit of a beauty junkie so trips to all the beauty counters,Sephora ,Aveda are planned. I am also going to visit Tiffany as I had some money left to me by my grandad and have decided to buy something to keep from there. Lots of other things will also find my way into my suitcase.

So there you have it - counting the days

Your children look adorable! I bet you are so excited....I can't wait until December (I also haven't been since Sept 06 and am suffering severe withdrawal symptoms).
