7th July

Lay awake at 5am waiting for the alarm to go off at 7am – funny how everyone got up with a smile on their face today. Showered and dressed and we headed for breakfast at 7.45am – my mum was running slightly behind so she never made breakfast (bad hair day I think!!!!) DH and John had the full English breakfast and the kids had Coco pops and orange juice. I just had a bit of toast and juice as I really just wanted to get to the airport – sooner you get going the sooner you get there!!!

We decided to walk to the airport as it is only a 5 minutes walk and we soon arrived and dropped off our overnight bag. We went straight through security which today was very fast and efficient

Got the kids settled with their comics and off my mum and I went to the shops. I bought some Clinique stuff and a couple of MAC lipglosses. I saw a gorgeous Marc jacobs bag in Harrods and was very tempted but left it as I thought I might see something better in Orlando. Then I decided that I would like some new sunglasses but tried on sooooo many pairs I couldn’t make up my mind. Picked up some water and juice for the kids and headed back and by that time we were heading off to the gate where I did a bit of celebrity spotting – well I saw Gail Porter and her daughter getting on our flight.

The flight itself was on time and quite uneventful. I was sat in between the two kids and they were really as good as gold apart from Molly asking every 5 minutes “are we there yet?” It came to meal time and no childs meals arrived to which I was told I had not ordered – I had done it online myself but hey ho what can you do at 37,000 feet. The adult choices were Sausage and Mash or Salmon with profitaroles and a twix so we all opted for Sausage and Mash. The kids watched Cartoon Network and Toy Story and I read and dosed on and off. The afternoon tea arrived not long before landing – lemon chicken sandwich and chocolate cookie then before we knew it it was time to put seats upright and your tray away and we were on the ground.

We were on the road quickly after clearing immigration and using Dollar express and in was not long before we were pulling up at the place we would call hame for the next 3 weeks.

The Villa – situated at Champions Gate quite near to the Omni hotel was in a fantastic location. We usually stay at Formosa gardens and travel the 192 but DH found getting to Disney from here much quicker.
The villa had 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and we would definitely go back.

5 minutes after we arrived the kids were demanding there dookers an werein the pool !!!! DH and I headed to Publix for the essentials and picked up a MacDonalds for the kids. I unpacked so I wouldnt have to do it in the morning while the kids played in the pool. By that time we were all ready for bed dreaming of our first day in Disney:cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:
