Jackie and Chris's Wishes Wedding 1/6/12: SBP/Attic/SCP 5/11 Final Post- PJ Finished

Here you go!

Here you go!! Hopefully you'll get what you want! We didn't have any problems booking for Sept. In fact, we've still been changing dining reservations.

pixiedust:
congrats on being 6 month out, great feeling isn't it? x

Good luck tomorrow! Can't wait to hear what your plans are. It's getting closer. :cool1:

pixiedust:pixiedust:p:

I'm sure we've already talked about all your dining plans, but I'm excited to read it on here!! :D I booked my ADR for LTT for the 7th!! :D:D

good luck!!!! I hope you guys get everything you want!!!! pixiedust:

pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

I hope you get everything you want! Definitely keep us updated!

Thank you SO much for the pixie dust!!! It worked!!!! (And I'm glad you booked LTT, Becky!)

Gah! I apologize for the above post--- I had to fiddle with it because there were too many images! :) But your pixie dust TOTALLY WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, here are the honeymoon plans! We got ALMOST everything we wanted. But, I had to make a few of them over the phone, and because the primary name on our DVC reservation is my grandfather's, all of those are in his name! I'm thinking this should be a quick fix, no? I just don't want to deal with it right now though.

Okay! So, here are our plans:

January 4th: Check into Beach Club Villas.
7:00: Dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse. (Our first time here!)

January 5th: Epcot and maybe DHS with my dad first thing in the morning
Make sure everything is set for the wedding
Cupcakes meet and greet with cupcakes from Babycakes at around 3:30 (still figuring this out)
Downtown Disney with bridesmaids

January 6th:WEDDING DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

January 7th:Check into Grand Floridian.
9:55am: Breakfast at Chef Mickey’s for 24 people! (We originally wanted 1900 Park Fare, but Chef Mickey's was the only restaurant that could accomadate us!)
6:30: Dinner at Citrico’s (Again, first time here!)

January 8th:Epcot photoshoot at 7:30am!!!
Check into Bay Lake Tower.
7:20: Dinner at the California Grill. (First time here, and in time for the fireworks too!)

January 9th: 9:00am: Undiscovered Future World Tour. (So excited!)
6:30: Dinner at Hollywood Brown Derby. (Another first time! We never do signature restaurants)

January 10th: 6:20: Dinner at Le Cellier. (Okay, not a first time, but I gotta have me my cheddar cheese soup.)

January 11th: 12:00: Lunch at Kona Café with my grandparents. Even though I told my family I refused to see them on the honeymoon, I really wanted to have lunch with my grandparents because I hardly see them anymore, and we're really close.
8:30: Dinner at Hoop de Doo Musical Review.

January 12th: 7:35: Dinner at The Wave. (I haven't been here yet either... we MIGHT cancel this one and have room service. It depends on how lazy we are. :D)

January 13th: 8:30am: Keys to the Kingdom Tour. 8:30am. (SO excited for this!)
7:50pm: Dinner at Rose and Crown. (Perfect fireworks time!)

January 14th: 5:45: Dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table. (We realize the food isn't that great and it's overpriced.... but it's the last day of our honeymoon and I wanna eat in the castle, gosh darn it!)

There we go! I'm really excited! We're not doing a dining plan because I don't want to do the deluxe plan, so we'll have the Tables in Wonderland card, and we will definitely get our monies worth. I apologize for the semi-weird formatting, this is a modified version of my notes. And I -really- can't wait to do a dining review too! We were going to do the carriage ride, but I think we have enough... AND I got 20% off of the tours with my disney visa!

Woohoo! 180 days until check in!!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

:yay: I'm glad you got the majority of the places you want. Sounds like you guys are going to have a blast!!

We want to plan another trip sometime at the beginning of the year, maybe over our Christmas break. We're hoping to do some of the signature restaurants then. For the wedding/honeymoon trip, we're doing the basic dining plan.. so most of our reservations are character meals.. because I love the characters!!

Hey ya never know.. maybe we'll me there around the time you're getting married, and I'll spot Cinderella running around.. and it will be you!! :rotfl: :cheer2:

Yay, so happy for you Jackie!!! The list looks great...
You are making me SUPER hungry for sushi at California Grill now! Seriously, one of the best places EVER. :cloud9:

Everything sounds perfect!! I can't wait to hear about all your dining reviews, as the list is making me hungry already

So happy for you!!

Glad the pixie dust worked!!! Your choices look fabulous! You will love Yachtsman, one of all time favorites. You will have such a great honeymoon!

Yay! So happy for you! Your ADRs look AMAZING, and like some others have said, all that food talk has made me hungry!

The ADR's look great!!!! Definitely do a dining review! I will probably do one as well!!

I like your choices! Glad you got what you wanted :) We're also doing Cinderella's Royal Table just for the "experience," even if the food isn't that good!

yay the pixie dust worked! Your ADRs sound great, I wanted to book more but DF wouldnlt let me. :goodvibes

Can't wait to hear about them, I don't think I've been to any of them yet. x

You have ADR's at so many of my favorites-- California Grill during Wishes is the BEST thing at wdw, I swear by it. Of course, I may be a touch biased, since that's where we got engaged ;)

I LOVE characters too, but Chris is kind of shy and he gets weirded out a little I think. But Cinderella's is back to being a character meal (which I'm really excited about... I didn't really like that silly show with the mice), so I'll get some princess time. Gotta have the princess time.

And I hope you go over my wedding!!! That would be awesome!!!!

Yay, so happy for you Jackie!!! The list looks great...

ooOOO I'm so excited. I want some flatbread! (Yeah, I might have drooled over the menu a bit...)

Everything sounds perfect!! I can't wait to hear about all your dining reviews, as the list is making me hungry already

So happy for you!!

Thank you!!!!

you plans are super fabulous!! you'll love citricos and yachtsman!!

Thanks! If I ask for Oscar at Yachtsman and tell him I know you, will I get super pixie dust?! :)

Glad the pixie dust worked!!! Your choices look fabulous! You will love Yachtsman, one of all time favorites. You will have such a great honeymoon!

Thanks! We're excited--- that's our last meal together as a single couple! So it's Chris's "last meal" :lmao:

Yay! So happy for you! Your ADRs look AMAZING, and like some others have said, all that food talk has made me hungry!

Ugh I know. I wish I weren't looking over the ADRs again... it's only 9:30 and I want dinner now!

The ADR's look great!!!! Definitely do a dining review! I will probably do one as well!!

Yayyy you have to!

I like your choices! Glad you got what you wanted :) We're also doing Cinderella's Royal Table just for the "experience," even if the food isn't that good!

Well, Chris really liked the food--- I thought it was ehhhh. And the price is AWFUL! And I totally annoyed Chris too. The last time we were there, there was a couple sitting by that window that overlooks Fantasyland and I said "Psssttt that's the Engagement Window. He's proposing!" And sure enough, he did... and sure enough, Chris had one less place he could propose to me! :lmao:

Congrats on getting the reservations that you wanted! :thumbsup2 It can be so stressful!

Thank you!!!

Yeah for ressies, and perfect plans!!!!

Thanks!

Ooohhh some of them you MUST try. A lot of them are new for me, but Kona Cafe is one of my absolute favorites. It's nothing fancy or special or anything, but the food is just SO good! And I would totally make ADRs behind Chris's back if he wouldn't let me. :D

You have ADR's at so many of my favorites-- California Grill during Wishes is the BEST thing at wdw, I swear by it. Of course, I may be a touch biased, since that's where we got engaged ;)

Oohh I didn't know that! That is a great engagement spot. I hope we get a window seat, and I will think of you!

Well, hello girls! I just had to update because: THEY ORDERED THE RIGHT DRESS!!!!! Thank GOODNESS!!!!! Although, I must admit, that it does slightly terrify me that it's July 16th and I don't technically have a dress yet, but I'm pretty sure that's just because Say Yes to the Dress has warped my mind and made me think that all dresses need to come in 18 months in advance or you PERISH. Or something like that. But, at least I have my sparkle coming... hopefully soon!

I also realized that I forgot even to mention that my fuzzy shawl came in! Alfred Angelo doesn't post pictures of their accessories on their website, so here is mine:

photo13-1.jpg

I tried it on today and I burst into giggles: I look like a polar bear in it! It's VERY old school cold weather princess though, isn't it??

In other wedding news, and because of the AMAZING guestbook that Giselle posted, Chris and I have decided to get our engagement pictures done with Randy Chapman. (Have I mentioned how much I love Randy? I sent him an email about it, and he replied "Hello, My Jackie!" Love him.) Originally I didn't want to do this because it's going to take a few hours out of our very limited time in the World, and I didn't want to waste a single second that could be spent riding the Haunted Mansion for the umpteenth time, but Chris reasoned with me and told me that we can go to Disney World ANY time, but we can only get our engagement pictures taken once. (Awwwwww. :lovestruc)

So, of COURSE I had to go buy a new dress! :lmao: I had wanted to stay away from black, but this is just SO flattering on me and I fell in love with it. (Unfortunately, that's not me in the picture.)

Any ideas for what I should wear for shoes???

The ONLY downside is our engagement pictures are being taken at the Poly (woo!!!) at 2:00pm on August 18th--- and our flight gets into Orlando at 11:11am! So we're going to have to book it, and I might look a little rough. I think I'm just going to put my hair in one of my pretty headbands and hope for the best? Any advice on anything else I could do though?

Speaking of dresses, I also picked up this cute little number for the Planning Session:

588995_hi

And, I just remembered: I need your advice, Disbrides! Originally, DF and I weren't going to do a seating chart/numbers/all of that stuff. However, we realized that there are many people in our small party who don't get along, and so we are going to do a chart and table names and stuff in order to keep the peace. I came up with the idea of naming each table after a TV show (What can I say... we LOVE TV!) and including a picture of a couple from the show with a lovey dovey quotation. (Example: For Dawson's Creek, I'm going to have a picture of Pacey and Joey, with the quotation "...the simple act of being in love with you is enough for me." I know, I'm a total sap, don't judge me.)

ANYWAY--- is this a bad idea? We already have the ribbon topiaries as our centerpieces, so is this too much of a mix-matched theme? Or would it be okay? I don't think I'd mind it so much, but I need some other opinions before I go and actually do all of this work.

Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

I can't see your pics either... :sad1:

Love the fuzzy shawl (I can see that pic :goodvibes), I just wanna cuddle it lol

Good decision on the engagment shoot, Randys work is A-Mazing. I'd love to have him follow me around and just take random photos.

I like the idea of the T.V theme. If it was me I'd pick my fave programs to use. I don't think it would be too much either, depends how you're going to do it I suppose. x
