Does anyone have a recommendation on how heavy of a jacket I will need for the 3 night 1/27 Wonder cruise? I am really trying to pack light, but I keep wanting to only pack sleeveless tops and I know I may need something heavier!

We just returned on Saturday from a 4-day cruise and the temps were in the low 80s the whole time. I had a light sweater that I wore in the movie theater and in a few of the restaurants but otherwise was comfortable in short-sleeves. Also packed mainly capris and one short skirt. I know there is a site called something like Accuweather ?? that you can get extended 15 day forecasts from anywhere in the world if you wanted to do a search. Have a great trip--wish we were still onboard!

Of all things, I am soooo nervous about the weather...I live in NE and right now it's sleeting....We didn't have the warmest summer either and I am so ready for some tropical weather...I'll keep my fingers crossed to and hope for weather like yours! :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

surfgirl, we are on the same cruise. I have packed summer type clothes and am taking a sweatshirt jactet for the evenings or just in case. I am wearing an outfilt down in layers so I can be comfortable when we get to FL. I checked the weather yesterday on accuweather and it is supposed to be in the 70's :boat:

We were on the 10 day Christmas Cruise. Until we went past Key West, it was cool. There was a cold front going through FLorida at the time.

However, generally, you need a light jacket or sweatshirt for the early, early mornings or the late evenings. Check the weather before you go and that will give you a better idea.

surfergirl - we went in January last year when it was really cold (remember that week) and we only brought our sweatshirts into the airport with us. Orlando/Port Canaveral was chilly for Florida, but heat wave for us, so we were fine. But on deck at night it can be a bit cool. Otherwise during the day you will be swimming. We are going again next week and will only be bringing sweatshirts with us again this time for the airports here and in Washington. Have fun and yes, it is wonderful weather out there today.

Hi Surfergirl..

I'm from Mass too. I am going on the 1/22 Magic. When we get picked up for the airport, I usually just wear a pullover windbreaker or something like it.

It's enough to keep me warm in the car and is usually enough in Orlando. Once we are in the Caribbean, I think we'll be all set!

Mike

We'll be on the same cruise - its been very warm here in FL the last week. In the 80's. Nites cool off to 70-75. I was wondering what the weather was going to be like also.
