Jacket/Hoodie in October

Living here I will tell you no. October is basically still summer here & especially early October. We can get a cold snap but it's what a FL person would deem cold. LOL Under 70 degrees, I'm wearing a jacket most other people are not.
Temps on average that time of year are in the 80's by day and low 70's at night. And it's usually still VERY humid. We typically do not "cool" off until Halloween or later.

Yes. Or No. Maybe.
No way for any of us to tell you either way. Sometimes in October it will be very hot. Sometimes in October it will be cool.

I usually take at least one jacket, sweater, or sweatshirt with me to Florida, even in the summer. As others have said, you might need it while indoors.

Hard to say. What is your temperature threshold for needing a jacket? I'm from Florida and get cold pretty easily, but in early October in Orlando, for average weather, I would not even think about taking a jacket to the parks. The walking keeps me warm enough. My recommendation would be to take a jacket with you and check the weather forecast before heading to the parks each day to decide if you will need to have the jacket with you in the parks.

I've been to Disney twice in October and once in Nov. I have never needed a jacket or pants, even in the restaurants. It was HOT. But then again, I am from NJ so by Oct/ Nov, my body is used to cooler temps.

I bring a very lightweight, packable water resistant windbreaker. It takes up almost no room or weight in my luggage, but I have it if I need it.

When we went in October I quickly learned (after she borrowed my friend's enormous on her long sleeved shirt) that my daughter would always need something when we went into the AC. I tied her sweatshirt to the strap of our backpack so it was always easily accessible whenever we went inside.

Our first thing on our trip agenda was HDDR and my poor girl (4 at the time) was freezing. Luckily my friend had brought something along that she could borrow and the rest of the week I made sure to never leave without something for her. We live in MA so not like we are unused to the cold, it was just a bit too much for her in the AC.
