J and K Escape Wedding 10/12/10 SBP/Epcot/Morocco DP -- Dress Ordered!

Ohh, that is soooooo beautiful!! IMHO, I think it is a bargain for that price, considering many I tried on were way over $1000 and very plain! But, if it is not in your budget, wait for a sale :goodvibes (although I'm not one to talk, I went $1500 over my budget :rotfl:)

Hahahaha, I know! I'm trying so hard to resist...:rotfl2:

Because see, I would go $1500 over budget and then DF might take away my Disney wedding!!:rotfl:

Ohh don't do that!! Check ebay and those pre-owned dress sites! You never know what you may find!!

I think Davd's bridal has a simlar dress too that...off to find it!

Oh I guess the one I was thinking of is a bit different...similar lines though!

The first time I looked at dresses (although I didn't try any on) I looked at a place that carried a lot of "Mon Cheri" (I think that is what it is called). They were really pretty, and most were under $500. It may just be that particular store I was at, but I would try that designer.

the dress is gorgeous! Definitely check out those preowned websites, sometimes you can get a new dress if the girl just changed her mind.

Ohhh that's still pretty, but yeah you're right a little different! Thanks for hunting!

I'll definitely check into that!!

Ahh I know, no luck so far! It's a Fall 2009 dress so it may take a few months for anyone to sell a used one. I was actually surprised at how many brides buy a dress and then change their mind! :rotfl:

Okay there is actually another dress I tried on that I LOVED , but bear in mind it comes with no lining and was too small. It's a lot less formal, but I still love it!

I'm holding that little line of bling they offered to sew on. And the back is the best party it has this part that drapes down! It was only $250, but I would need a full body slip for it and I'd possibly add that beading/bling to it. Ahhhhh decisions decisions!

Ohhh the back is soo pretty! And I think the bling really makes it look great!

Love that dress. There was a dress somewhat like that on "Say Yes To The Dress". The girl wanted very simple and understated and the mother wanted all out (and did not want to let the girl get what she wanted). She tried on a dress like that and really wanted it and the mother refused. The poor bride was in tears trying on the dress the mother wanted. Of course the sales girl at the store wanted the bride to get the dress she wanted. She took the dress and added an embelishment to it like you are doing and it was just perfect. The girl got what she wanted and the mother got the bit of sparkle. I think this would be a great choice for you (and it is in your price range). You can always add a sparkley tiara and maybe some sparkley shoes.

Thank you!! I'm really starting to like it more and more! I'll only be wearing it for 2 hours max!

Nice to know I have good style! :rotfl: I'm SO glad that my mother isn't like that. She's kind of the opposite and lets me sit back and do what I want. I wish she would offer MORE input!

Ohh Karen I like that dress too! It's similar to mine (but less expensive!!). I think I like that one better on you!!

Aww thank you! Now I'm off to find your dress again for a reminder! :surfweb: (I even have my coffee mug!)

Argh I really want to find out who the designer is of the most recent dress! I've searched high and low and can't seem to find it! :headache:

Oh i LOVE both of those! you look so beautiful in both of them so you can't go wrong either way!

Both dresses are beautiful! I like the first one a bit more, but that's just because that's what I would like, you look gorgeous in both!
