Ivy league and other college students loving disney?

My son is applying to several of the ivy league schools. He has never been bashful about loving trips to Disney. I am wondering if college students are concerned that Disney isn't "cool" anymore. Thanks

Well I'm far from an Ivy league student but I've met a lot of people at my college that love Disney. I'm certainly not ashamed to admit it, and have had a lot of fun conversations with others that love it too. Definitely not a big deal

im in a frat, and while none of my bros like disney as much as i do, they never give me any crap for it.

My S is in his second year at an Ivy...he loves WDW...we go every T-giving--this year he brought his girlfriend (her first ever Disney trip) w/us--she loved it and she's an Ivy student, too; last year he persuaded me to buy into DVC so we can go even more often...now he's talking about whether I'd let him use some of our points to take a some of his buddies w/him to Disney this summer--a number of his friends really want to go...many of his friends were a bit envious of his T-giving Disney trip...I'd say the kids at the Ivies are as "sensible" as the rest of us when it comes to loving Disney!

I'm an Ivy League grad and I LOVE Disney! I recall that when I was at Yale (1991-1995), my roommate took several trips to WDW and a classmate wrote a paper on Walt. The Ivies are not as stuffy as many people think.

Just a midwestern gal over here and I know plenty of people who love it! And none of us are really embarressed or anything about it. I go to a fairly large public school and everyone is so different and has their own unique opinions and such, that us Disney fanatics really just blend right in...except, ya know, when we see each other in the middle of the Union or something. Then we go nuts and gab about our fun times in Disney and point with 2 fingers.

I do get some crap about it from a few of my friends, but Disney is just not their cup of tea and I understand that. They know that I love it and had a great experience doing the CP, but they still tease me...it's all in good fun though and I really don't let it get to me.
