I've signed up to walk the Disneyland 5K - how about having a DIS Unplugged team?

September 5, 2009 - part of the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend! For you serious runners - the Half is held on Sunday the 6th.

My best friend and I have signed up to walk the 5K and I would love to get a small team together to walk with us. We can wear our GKTW Podcast shirts. I plan to do a segment for the event and would love to get photos for my blog.

I'll be keeping a list of folks who are registering. I know there is a DIS WISH Team that does the Half every year. I met with them last year and they are great folks! Let's get us, the podcast listeners, out and show them that they aren't the only DISers that can do it! Let's make it a fun weekend.

I'm interested Nancy! Love to meet you, and I know my daughters would be motivated to run a 5k through the parks. Just need to save pennies for flights, etc. But if I can get there, I'm in.

Sounds like great fun but Dh and I have so many various trips planned this year that I'm not sure we can squeeze one more in.
If I figure out a way, financially and timewise, I would definitely be in.
